I remember my Roommates rented this in college. They were completely fooled by it, because the DVD case didn't say anything about the gay cruise and the DVD menu screens were all topless girls sunbathing. The marketers of this obviously did not have a lot of faith in the premise.

Jeez, what's he doing now? He's was the Oscar-bait centric actor at the time. And the last film I seen of him was this aliens/moral event horizon/first resident evil film, that was just cheesy and stupid. Cuba: "Well, fuck god." Thats a (paraphrased) line from near the end of that movie.

Absolute gold combo with these three. Corey breaks down the movie with energy and really drives the humour forwards. Martin is so dry with his wit and has his scenario act out moments that are timed perfectly. And Billy is pure joy

true..lots of bad films are fun to watch..i have seen hundreds...films like norbit leprechaun in the hood and boat trip make me question reality itself..who thought it was ok to make these films for millions of dollars?...these have no excuse of being low budget or small studio..these are wide released expensive films with serious actors

Boat Trip (2002) and Radio (2003) derailed Gooding’s prospects as a lead in theatrically released films. It’s really sad. Guy is definitely a talented actor. Him getting an Oscar wasn’t a fluke. But, his instincts for picking projects took him out. Maybe the future will have bigger things in store for him, besides DTV flicks.

So I looked up the director, it's some asshole named Mort Nathan. And apparently, this is his directorial debut. After this, he did two movies, Van Wilder 2: Rise of Taj and Bagboy. He hasn't done anything else since 2010 and that was on TV. Let's hope and pray he made the decision to never get behind a camera or a writing desk ever again.
