How was the boat trip between Santarém and Manaus, on the Amazon River, in what is considered the fastest trip between the two cities in the Amazon.
From Santarém, in Pará, to Manaus, in the state of Amazonas, on a traditional line of river transport in the North region, where rivers carry the weight of roads in other states of the federation.
Our trip started at 10 am on the 10th of May. The ferryboat Madame Crys, after undocking from the port of the Santarém Waterway Terminal, departed in the direction of Manaus, sailing for the longest time on the Amazon River. Of qualified information is the travel time, since the Madame Crys makes this trip in 30 hours (from Manaus to Santarém, 24 hours) which is a much faster trip than most of the vessels on this line do.
