Will this cover prevent rain from entering even if mounted on a slope and not directly vertical?

It will all depend on the slope of your cover and where you plan on installing the vent. It is designed to be at the peeks of the cover, attaching to each mooring pole. If that is not how you intend to use it, and it will be at an angel, you risk water being able to seep through if it is a substantial rainfall. That being said you will notice there is a lip inside the vent to prevent rain from running in. However as I mentioned if it is a full blown storm with some heavy winds, more than likely you may find a little puddle at the bottom of the vent.
