Me too I was frantically searching..and I was greatly rewarded lol, I mean I laughed so hard when she was yelling out Boaz but great message . I do want to point something out though, I know a lot of young ladies are faithfully waiting for their Boaz but I hope they realize that sometimes Boaz is not going to be as fine as ole boy in the video, or sometimes personality wise etc etc. In fact if you read the bible it alludes to the fact that Boaz was a much older gentleman telling Ruth that there were basically other eligible men in the town. I guess the lesson to be learnt is being open to the plan of God and if you want that plan it helps to throw your preconceived notions out the door. The guy I'm marrying next year God spare our lives was nothing I was looking for but yet was everything God knew I needed. Just wanted to give my two cents.
@KevonStage brought me here and I was ready to clown. But you know what, I like the message and I like the song. The video though...*sideye*, but you get an "E" for effort. I'll probably be singing "Boaaaaaazzzzz" all day long....LOL
The posts I've read, some people were commenting on the acting, dancing, marketing, etc.. The message is clear, if u got the message, then u got ministered to-perhaps after seeing the vid, you're asking yourself, what is God's purpose for me? If not, then now you are. It looks like to me they were having fun...I respect the effort, the work it takes to produce vid. To all those who were in the video I enjoyed it, we got the message, you keep doing ministry.
Though there were some valid points here, one thing disturbs me. People, please read your Bible! Ruth did NOT patiently [and passively] "wait for Boaz". SHE actually pursued AND proposed to him, guided by the wisdom of Naomi... Bottom line--- use godly wisdom. Don't be run by church culture, fear, emotion, or impatience. I encourage everyone to really read Ruth and ask God to reveal the truth in it to you. I say this in love.
Amen! people get too caught up in their churches and their Western derived perceptions of femininity and 'a woman's place' that they forget to actually crack the Bible open and what it actually says
Right! Not to mention that getting boaz means the one you are meant to be with (the man who was closest kin and rightfully inherited) passed and so boaz took up the slack because he saw value in her. So Askin for boaz means loosing the first, being passed over by the next, then paid double for by the man u set eye on because he was able to provide. She didn't love him initially and he wasn't in love with her
Good message, and I respect you for staying true to the Word. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, could use some work, but that's the case for everybody's endeavors. The key is to continue growing and working until you have perfected it.

Wow , I really loved this video . Its funny cause while scripture reading I came across the name Boaz . I didn't know what it meant , so I looked it up . There I read the story of Boaz , and Ruth . A story of love , faith , caring . Just like our God . I left the information site , and came to RU-vid to find this video . So glad I did . God bless you and your ministry of music . Reading a lot of these comments is funny to me. I've read the book of Ruth repeatedly (being that it's one of my favorites) and yes woke it is true that Ruth didn't wait for Boaz to come to her and followed the guidance of Naomi she it was the integrity in Boaz that made him the right one to be approached in such a way that kind of integrity and was not common and is less common in today's society. She had won his favor before he even knew her name. Naomi wouldn't have advised her to do so had he not been the man he was. Ruth could've married anyone but it was bc of her faithfulness and obedience to Naomi that God blessed her to have the favor of a man with the character of Boaz. That's where "waiting" comes in after all the clowns that approach, you're waiting for a man of God's integrity. And as far as love goes love is an action, not many ppl (if any) in the old Testiment married for love but bc the covenant of marriage meant something more back then they still knew what marriage required the respect, the faithfulness, the commitment those things made those marriages grow into love (for the ones that did). If doing (showing )love were as fragile as "feeling or not feeling" it no marriage would work out nc even in the best marriages spouses upset one another and some times you'll want to kiss him sometimes you'll want to hit him but when you can kiss when you feel like hitting that's where love comes in.
also people someone on here said Ruth proposes to Boaz which she didnt, so read the story over, people read it for your self and ask God for understanding of it,to understand, Boaz told Ruth basically look sweet thing don't worry tomorrow imma ask old dude in the town of he wants to pay for your land and take you to wife, and if he ain't man enough to do it, then I am- off course this has something to do with their tradition in that land and time, that was their custom, it had to go in some sorta of order, and if one denied the other stepped up to the plate, just like first you were to marry the oldest child of before the young, anyway read the book of ruth, it's good, if I'm wrong ask God for understanding, he will reveal the meaning to you. Anyway Ruth did not say literally Boaz will you marry me, Boaz told her no worry I will ask this noble dude in the town or who ever old dude was will he take you for inheritance, if he say no I got you, I will marry you, so Boaz was a man he stepped up to the plate, Ruth after making herself visible to boaz, was more like a damsel in distress, Boaz inquired meaning asked about her first, and when they spoke she was like please I pray the let me tarry in the field, meaning work the field, he was like noll girl, you ain't gotta sweat or break your nails, you stay right her close to my hand maids and chill, and she was like 'oh Boaz why are you being so kind to me? Then he was like be easy babe I heard how you followed my mother in law all the way down to a new land you know not, you was faithful and true to her, even though your husband passed, so imma keep my eye on you, and look out for you, and he even told them other dudes in the field not to touch her, she was like oh Boaz I am Thu lowly hand maid, pray the that they consider what I ask of you, or tell you, for I am worrisome and need a big strong sexy man to protect me,lol:) Okay so I elaborated al title bir, and out some of the story in my own words, the main points are still true, Ruth was in a desperate situation but Boaz looked out for her, and they had no sex before marriage, though she did lay at his feet at night:) Read the book of Ruth in the bible it's a good one:) Acts 2:38:)

It doesn't matter if I got the message I hate when people make crappy stuff for God and talk about effort. I bet if they was doing it for the world they'll do it a million times better. This the reason why younger people turn to secular music because they know gospel ain't cutting it.
This is like first time I've seen the entire video... And um the dancing is what makes this seem comical. But I can appreciate the message of wanting to be with the right man. But this video killed the song.
Yeah, it has a great message but the video is just so comical.The dancing is when I laughed so hard.And the Booooooaaaaaaz part too.It is a good song though that makes sense.
different sounding and SO much more better now when I made it more simpler and more of what I feel, verses trying to sound like something. She has a beautiful voice, and can really work it. She is selling herself short. She doesn't have to be skimpy dressed, nobody does, and this video DOES prove that, they are BEAUTIFUL, but if they do hip-hop, give it lots of time to really settle in and marinade. It's a good step, but it's catching way too much bad than what it deserves, I admit I know why.

I hope this doesn't sound too harsh but Conceptually, this video is marketable, catchy creative idea HOWEVER, because the video seems to be marketed towards teenage girls I wish they would have used people who were a little more marketable in the looks despartment. the idea is to reinforce the abstinence is the way to go hence getting a young lady that young girls want to identify with and making it seem "cool". but all in all theyre on to something

Okay, the women are BEAUTIFUL! and dressed so beautiful, like a woman who respects herself, all of them. Stop trying to be hip-hop, and be yourselves. Be something different. Gospel is always typically the same, people trying to be something and trying too hard to pass a message. The most powerful messages are simple and the most liked are the more different and well planned stuff that takes like a year or two to marinade. I write music at harp and piano since I was 15, my music is so much.....
I like it...I was brought here by a negative comment but, I will say that after hearing the song myself, I think it's pretty good. sure, you don't have the musical equipment of today's mainstream, but you definitely have talent. so, don't you let ANYONE steal your joy or your dreams! as a matter of fact, I hope they keep making the negative comments b/c it's giving you exposure...see there, God CAN turn ANYTHING into a blessing!
