LOL...I've seen Bob 35 times or more and have always left feeling like I had the privilege of being allowed inside the. artists studio. Most of those times were very, very good, 3 were jaw-dropping. Thanks Bob.
I always thought that Bob Dylan was the first ' Rappin ' Man on the musical- horizon . With : 'it's alright Ma'..from 1965 he released this legendary experience. Now he gives an addition. This Man got a head full of ideas and the good thing is, it never ends
Bob was so much older then, he's younger than that now......this is fantastic. To all that go to his shows nowadays and complain. The nicest way I can say it is, pay more attention.
It's a festival. Those things happen. People come for the atmosphere, for fun, for being able to say that they have been there, for Willie Nelson... It has a different vibe from seeing Dylan in a theater.
When Bob first started singing Desolation Row in concert the audience would sit in silence listening to every word.... These audiences today seem to have no respect. I'm seeing Bob in Liverpool in Nov first concert I've been to with mobile phones banned. Will be interesting to see if it helps.
I attended the Glasgow concert last year and mobile phones being banned was the best thing ever. I never film concerts anyway, I just like being in the moment and it was great not to have distracting lights flashing everywhere. Just concentrate on Mr Dylan.
Amazing Dylan, terrible audience walking around a worldwide phenomenon in 2024.Spend your money on something else if you don’t want to enjoy music or see a master at work ❤
lol nobody like Bob. I like the line about when he talk about how the doorknob broke, you ask me how I'm doing, is that some kind of joke. haha so true. It sucks when the doorknob breaks and it is so symbolic
This sounds much better close than it did on the lawn. Regardless of the band or the audience, hitting a mic is torture to the listener and he knows that. That aside, does anyone know if Darien Lake has terrible lawn monitors on purpose?
Dylan is one of the greatest lyricists of all time, but it doesn't make him a master of everything. Having to bang a wrench on a mic a bunch of times while singing because you feel your drummer is lagging or you want the tempo faster doesn't show great communication skills as a bandleader. Dylan has over 60 years of experience leading bands, he should know if his bandmates aren't picking up on non-verbal signs to use his best attribute, his words!
How is mumbling with no diction nor melodic nuance or a slight breath of rythme heart-wrenching,breath taking or remarkable? 4 musicians afraid to play and interupt some sort of person icon pretending he can be heard? Guess U.S culture is entering the mysterious phase.
