This is considered a throwaway track. In fact, it was a throwaway track; left off Oh Mercy (1989). This would be the main single on most people's albums.

Dylan writes more meaningful lyrics in one song than a lot of so called artists write in there life time. And he can sing a very special way no one can sing like him. Thanks Dylan for keeping me sane in a very strange world.

This song is so powerful because every word of it is true. How did Bob write something this incredible and not include it on the album? Oh Mercy is an incredible album as is. With this it woulda been even better.

Saw him earlier this year in Fayetteville, I was heartbroken as he was a shell of himself vocally. Why Bob? That memory sucks. Could not understand one word, and I know all the words as a 40 year fan.

I remember that day I when to London and the report taken my photo I turn my face away. The authorities let me walk on my own through empty streets. In my angle costume. Just remember there's only one lily of the valley, and He's The Lord. The Lord made a Lilith before He made Eve. He made her to be the same Adam's guardian angel, but Lucifer used Lilith and Adam first got deceived. Lilith wanted to lead, and take authority on top.
