Edited and saved this differently, hopefully a bit better than the last upload of this, where the audio seemed to gradually go out of synch.. (converting from a VOB files and joining it together seemed to cause this). I've muted the parts with music playing for copyright reasons.

People say that Bob is a difficult man to interview, Bob is totally his own man, a wise man, a highly intelligent man, a hard-working man, a man of many God-given talents which he uses to the full and passes onto the people. He is the only singer songwriter production songs that are equal to what he did 6o years or so ago, Yes Bob is the man

Bob has the talent for leaving interviewers being lost for words, amongst welding, drawing, performing, and writing. He's a Don, and the poet laureate of rock'n'roll.

So awesome that Dylan was a visual artist almost as much as he made songs!

Let him keep on working, let him put one foot in front of the other. He is driven to work. He has proved it by still working in his 80's. He seems to rest only by taking up another creative effort for a while. He is not slothful, does not waste energy. He is remarkable in this way. I have admired him for all my life.

My favorite Dylan interview ever. He's never going to give them an inch. He knows it's their job to try and it's his job to not give in so he just goes with it and I daresay even enjoys the process. Turning the thing around by drawing the interviewer is a genius move and the drawing itself turned out pretty good. I think every interviewer (and this happens during other settings like courtrooms, interrogation rooms) tries to get a subject to agree to a set of assumptions - implicit or explicit. Bob knows this game and he's way out in front of it. So he's the cat and they are the mouse and they can't really figure it out most of the time.

Dylan responds to interviewers differently depending on the quality and depth of the questions...this guy's questions are the typical type they usually ask him - enigmatic and unanswerable shit and he often will sarcastically play with the interviewer and turn it around on them by asking them the same type of ridiculously unanswerable questions.... If you are familiar with Dylan and his interviews it's easy to see why he was reluctant to give them when this is the type of crap he would be forced to respond to if he did agree to an interview... If I had 30 minutes to ask Dylan anything I wanted to I would surely make it count... But either way, I definitely enjoy listening to him talk and the ending scene was definitely cool 😎

That beautiful moment at 14:05 when Bob's face lights up at the mention of his ex-wife's name. Seems to me he still loved her. (Sad it was actually a crazy delusional lady)

@@jamesbradshaw3389 I meant no disrespect. I'm a big fan of Dylan's work. When I originally watched this all those months ago I was frustrated with the interviewer. I felt that Dylan didn't want to be interviewed by him and just wanted to leave. Maybe I'm right, maybe I'm wrong, only he knows for sure.
