Mein süßer Bobby, ich höre mir das Lied nur zur Erinnerung an schwere Zeiten an. Und weil es so grandios ist! Die Zeit der seelischen Schmerzen ist vorbei! Für FALCO, mich und auch für Dich.......!
Undoubtedly, Dylan is one of the greatest songwriters & a living legend! He makes music sound like a joke while he weaves magic in his simple yet sophisticated style. This one's a classic!
Off and on for the last two years, I've continued to discover songs by Bob Dylan that absolutely blow my mind. It's not just the lyrics and the music, the guy's old singing voice is a bit hypnotic. I don't know how he does it, all I know is I'm just glad he does.
Amen and amen. Being an old gal, I've enjoyed the benefit of his genius for many years and he continues to astound and impress beyond what mere words and sound should be able to generate. Poet Laureate!
I'm walking, Through streets that are dead Walking, Walking with you in my head My feet are so tired My brain is so wired And the clouds are weeping Did I, Hear someone tell a lie Did I, Hear someone's distant cry I spoke like a child You destroyed me with a smile While I was sleeping I'm sick of love That I'm in the thick of it This kind of love I'm so sick of it I see, I see lovers in the meadow I see, I see silhouettes in the window I watch them 'til they're gone And they leave me hangin' on To a shadow I'm sick of love I hear the clock tick This kind of love I'm lovesick Sometimes The silence can be like thunder Sometimes I want to take to the road of plunder Could you ever be true? I think of you and I wonder I'm sick of love I wish I'd never met you I'm sick of love I'm tryin' to forget you Just don't know what to do I'd give anything to be with you
I'm lovesick as hell...(my husband recently passed away ...pancreas cancer)but I don't care a lot for this particular song either) ☕🚬 That's cool. I'll simply listen to the next one on my playlist!
I'd be so pissed off if Bob dylan doesn't make it, I think he smoked cigarettes and fell off his motorcycle... he'll be ok i want him around for way longer, he's been around ages but its not enough, he can do things that get him through every eventful day, anyway lots of love love ross Kelly and Ben kerr
This recording, at first hearing it seems to a bit more emotional. I'm used to the version on the album which sounds more.. restrained in the way one might when one needs to because of the turmoil inside. Also, listening to Dylan always remind me of my father - Dylan was one of his favourite musicians. Although I can certainly appreciate Dylan's work for myself - the association just adds to it now.
It was recorded 1998 Grammy awards . The famous Soy bomb guy invaded the stage. It was released on a cd called love sick which included a few live tracks . Roving gambler was one
Waaaay better than the studio version. Daniel Lanois worked wonders with loads of Dylan songs but others ended up sounding a bit limp. No wonder Dylan ended up going more rocky on Love and Theft.
Remember emo? That genre of music of grown boys in make up screaming and wailing and getting spastic over a broken heart? Bob did it first. And he handled it like a fucking man.
To the creator of this link. I have a problem to download this specific masterpiece. It seems to belong in a playlist, but there is no way to download it. The ytd didn't find it in the above playlist. Is there anybody to help me into this.??
