It's very rare for me to listen to this song and not have a tear. Poignant is the word. Also Slim Dusty's "Camooweal" Both beautiful songs Thank you Bob and Thank you Slim.

A song that has followed him throughout different stages of his career. He always sings it with great respect and love and his vocal carries through the truths of the lyric.

This sends me to a perfect place where my heart floats among the sad the happy , the lovers , the loved and the broken hearted. He sings so sweetly , with such a sincere feeling of nostalgia - like this has happened to him - ya think ? Thank you Bob once again for always being there with me and guiding me throughout my life.

Ok Bob you are incredible. You sing this in the sweetest , saddest , most sincere nostalgia way - it melts my heart to pure liquid Gold ! I love every version of this you have done. Each version is a different bittersweet color of beautiful music and lyrics to the ears. Thank you ! I have been a Fan since 1965 when I was only 12 yrs old. But I didn't see you live until The Rolling Thunder Revue came to near by Bangor Maine, during Thanksgiving Weekend of 1975.. It was incredibly eye opening . I wanted to go with the Tour doing whatever I could do to help.... I had no idea then , although I had a strange and exciting feeling - I was witnessing what would turn out to be, one of the great Musical Tours and Musical Legends of all time. History was being made right before my eyes. . The 2nd time was at The Maine Center for The Arts at the University of Maine in Orono in early 90's.. My ex husband , is a UNBELIEVABLY HUGE FAN., second only to me , His 40th Birthday was fast approaching and nothing memorable to suit that occasion had come to me . I don't know how it happened , but Out of the blue I heard of the Concert at almost the last minute. I was so lucky enough to get 2 tickets , seated separately. ., But , at least , I got them . My Husband , thrilled , watched and listened - from the Orchestra, 2nd Row, Center , and I more happy than ever to be alive - absorbed this moment - in the same Section, Last Row, to the Far Right ( which is a place , I would only be ,- if Hell, itself , froze over.- OR if I could actually see and hear Bob Dylan , ofcourse!! ) I wanted so much to bring my children along but they were just 4 and 5 at the time. I wanted them to get a better start in life , then I did , at experiencing and absorbing this entire phenomenon which was Bob Dylan I will NEVER forget that !!!! I'm hoping I will see and hear Bob a 3rd time .... I am 68, and you Bob , are a mere 82 and both going strong.. So - It could definitely happen. In fact , I'm counting on it...!!! It's SUCH an experience.!!! This didn't just dawn on me, however.... WOW Bob, you have really had a tremendously significant and. incredibly positive effect influencing and pleasing so many people around this World..The direction you provided , unbeknownst to you, unmatched by none , changed this World. A Gift from GOD and GOOD to Humanity. THANK YOU Mr. Bob Dylan. Rock on !

Aunque la cancion sea romantica tambien habla de perder a alguien con quien estuviste durante poco tiempo pero que amaste con el alma. I never learned it. My current husband speaks both, but he never taught me. I put my daughter in a mixed culture grade school, and she started learning Spanish in first grade, and her teacher even had my daughter teaching kids English. My daughter's first grade teacher even came to my daughter's High School Graduation. My daughter got so many awards that I cried with joy both middle School and High School. It was some kind of miracle to me. Her awards were put in the glass casing by The Office in middle School, and that's the only School that I could afford Private Christian for her because I volunteered a few hours a week in their office grading papers, and my daughter won a scholarship there, plus I had to pay something monthly. It was a combination Jewish/Christian School. Personally, I was just an average student, and made C grades in Math and Science, but I got B's in Art and History, and A's in Grammar, Writing and Creative Writing. My son did about the same as me, except his Science and Math were A's. My son was the youngest teacher at UTI Universal Technical Institute, after he came back from graduating Jsquar Program. He got the job teaching there at Ontario, Ca. and taught for one year. Then he went to Utah because his best friend had moved up there to do a Drafting/Drawing Job. He roommated with him and got interested in the Police Academy up there because he started talking to the neighbor girl, who was a Cop. Anyway, I tried taking a Spanish Class in 11th grade because a friend I met only spoke Spanish and she wanted me to come to her class so I could talk to her because nobody would talk to her around campus. Most of the kids in there only spoke Spanish and I didn't understand the teacher much, so I changed classes. Long Stories Short, Yes it's a super romantic language and I love to listen to my MANNA Music Sometimes. It's so beautiful! I really am not certain what they're saying on it though, and my husband doesn't explain it to me that well. VC
