Hi Justin!!! I was amazed with your happiness playing this song with Bob James. My name is Lilu Aguiar, 63, and I am jazz-pianist, from Brasil. Every day I watch this video. You put love in my soul!!!! Thank thank thank you!!!
@@strawberrycough22 I will give it to the boy, he's got immense skill. Writing music is completely a different part of the brain though. That's all i'm saying.
Justin makes it look SO easy. Bob is reading every note and his talent is nevert to be sneezed at, but Justin just grooves, without even reading the music. Seems to know the track off by heart. Magic. He OOZES talent out of every pore and OBVIOUSLY loves playing. Brilliant!
Cette complicité entre 2 générations est très émouvante. Il n'y a pas que le stratosphérique talent des 2 protagonistes, il y'a aussi le plaisir de dialoguer, la bienveillance réciproque. C'est absolument merveilleux.
Phew! Just as when I thought jazz was dwindling, thanks to people like Bob and Justin and many others , not only will jazz will live forever, it will give birth to new forms of jazz.
Justin!! I'm pretty much speechless right now. You have been blessed with a very special gift from God. I've loved Bob James forever now and have seen him in concert 3 times with Fourplay. I can't believe someone at your age, you got to sit down with him and adlib like you did. Unbelievable buddy. Can't wait to see more things from you as you. What a future you have in front of you big man!! - Chris James
Chris James Thanks so much Mr Chris. Yeah it was an incredible experience sitting and playing with Mr Bob. I was actually at his studio on this day to record the pianos for my single and then we sat and Jammed afterwards. He is one of the nicest people I know. Check out my new single. It’s called my play ground. Click this link 👉🏽 lnk.bio/EvFF .. thanks so much for ur kinda words. Happy new year Justin Lee Schultz
Having had the opportunity to meet and shake the hand of Bob James many years after a concert here in Atlanta I asked him if he could pass the magic he has to me and he just laughed. It was a great night. No I still can't play piano but I love listening to and watching a young jedi and a master. Music gives me life.
Speaks to the ridiculousness of time.that we believe that it takes "time"to get anything meaningful done.ooh no.God occasionally disturbs the waters. .and reminds us that there is no predictability with Him.he can make volcanos sprout in the deepest depths of the seas. Well . .here is one now.
Having been a fan of Bob james for decades this young man certainly follows in his footsteps and makes his own. Truly wonderful looking forward to his first album.
Im a 60+ year old, and as much as i dig Justine I admit I was envious that he, as a child, got to sit along side a guy I have listened to and studied since 73-74. To have that opportunity is the cat's meow!
Yes sir! Bob James Westchester lady woo! Justin I need a CD soon good man. You are killin it, ya'll made me jump outta my chair. Oh by the way you owe me one shirt and a Cherry coke ( I spilled my drink on it @ 1:45 - 2 somethin lol) Incredibly good!
Amazing...at the 2019 Monterey Jazz Festival I saw Bob James, David Sanborn & Marcus Miller with a reprise of 'Double Vision'....and I saw Justin-Lee playing in the lounge back at the Hyatt Regency...and here they are!
I love how he constantly smiles at the camera like, "GUUUUYYSSSSS, LOOOOKKKK!!!!! Bob frickkkkinn JAAAMMMMMEEEESSSS" and at the same time it's "I can't believe I'm doing this!!!". Lovely video.
This is just so incredible, -- you, young man, have an incredible gift from God, use it well, as i think you will, and you will be richly blessed! - "granpa" Levi in sweden
Love two of these musicians! ❤️❤️Awesome to hear you guys play together! I also love this album of Bob James and this particular piece. This was on my list to pick up by ear-) (or transcribe without writing down) since I first heard Bulgogi. There is a bunch of challenging stuff there(not for Justin though-)
