wow what a great performance from everyone on that stage, they looked to be having such fun.& as for the pianno player, well i was expecting the pianno to go bang,as it looked a bit rickety lol.
That lead break is from Rock Around the Clock. What a class combination of musicians, great job everyone. In my opinion the best version of this song is Buddy hollys cover version, however i HAVE TO SAY THAT THIS IS BRILLIANT!!!
The piano player and the guitar player are amazing ! Because of they I think it's the best rendition of this song ever. Even better than Elvis and Little Richard.
1:40-1:44 best part :D :D who is that guitarist, does anyone know? Great recording! Maybe a bit of a rough performance, but must have been a great fun, also because its pretty much of an improvisation.
promagnum: I don't know, but what about Bob's suit and shoes? I'll bet they're rotting away next to an empty jar of Dippity Dew, and the top half of a Barbie doll that now houses a big red millipede!
It sure looks like him, but in fact its Bobby Gibson (gets namechecked on other clips from this gig) - who went on to play on "Ozark Jubilee Starring Red Foley" and even turned down a spot in Jim Reeves band.
-Yeah there was a bunch of 50's Elvis imitations, some not bad, some others wrecked it. But a lot sounded kinda good anyway & lots of people had a good time.
