Unbelievably unsung, I bought countless records because Carly was on drums, I couldn’t get enough of his legendary rolls, also his one strike rimshot always uniquely placed and of course the poetic hi hats spiritually tickling away.The greatest . R.I.P Carly

The difference between the louder and softer (to the softest) High Hat notes is profound and the music wouldn't be the same without it. ACCENTS!!! Can't be said enough how much difference it makes, in all music, even 'ergonomically' giving more or less energy in this manner to rhythms will help give it a 'swing' and life of it's own
