Bob's dreads are among my fave. They looked so good from early 'fro stage to the 1980 length. (The 1974 length is my favorite--framed his face perfectly). He looked like a lion...very regal. Always wondered if he "helped" his dreads along at all. With my luck, mine would grow into one big, flat turd if I let them form naturally.
You know the guy who you thought was his son? That was Jacob Miller from the original Inner Circle. Can you do a dread review on him? He's one of the lesser known members of the 27 club but a energetic artist and a amazing freeformer.
8:16 is actually Jacob Miller: a very underrated reggae artist who also died too young, around the same time as Bob. You should do a video about him too, man!
Good job Knotlocks, my bro; you have a point you where making that never caught me, and that was Bob's lock fro. It is amazing how his locks matured and grew out the way they did. Pete Tobias yeah I noticed that some time ago Bob started locking 73 and had that dread fro and I thought about how they turned out. I seen some dreads that's flat or standing up like buildings. But you do know that he cut his hair off before he died. I have a photo of him 3 weeks before he died after he cut his hair.

The guy in the pic with Marley was another reggae artist named Jacob Miller who also died around 1980 .(marley did not have a son that old Marley was 35 in that pic that other guy was in his 20’s 😅😅) his oldest kid was not even a teenager yet at that point

I have to say , I don't need to know about his locks. We all know that his locks were his identity and so we knew him as who he truly was...no need to to dissect locks!
