The reason is very simple, Jamaica is a tiny island with barely 2 million people. Jamaicans are like the Jewish people in that for a tiny people they clearly culturally punch above their weight and seem like there are way more And even those are foreign born lack the genuine accent. As I replied to another comment above. There is simply not a large enough pool of Jamaicans. Jamaicans are similar to Jewish community in that you would think there are 100m+ due to the constant cultural impact. But in reality it’s a very small pool (2 million) and that is the only reason why you have to go with foreigners in this case. A CITY in America with 2 million people would be considered a rural area small town) this is an entire country Even 1st gen Jamaicans born abroad struggle to duplicate the genuine accent
