I don’t know if you’re aware of it but Bob Marley Cleaned up his standup routine after he became successful. His act had explicit language and humor of an adult nature. I saw Bob Live after being a fan for years and I can’t tell you how disappointed I was when I found out his show was rated PG. He only became successful because of his routine from the early days and his diehard fans don’t like his new act. I can attest to that because I am one of them that prefers his earlier days but I still love the guy. I wouldn’t have bought a ticket to his show like this
I have lived in Maine my whole damn life! Never once, in all the times I've been stuck in the snow, have I EVER thought to use the floor mats for traction!! 😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣 This vid slayed me!! 😂
I love Bob Marley. A few years ago my brother got us tickets to a show in MA which was in this small town theatre. We were looking forward to it for months and had a great time but his PG-13 material was a major letdown . For those of you that don’t know Bob and don’t think he is funny check out his early days when he was an up-and-coming stand up. I got hooked on him based on his use and delivery of many 4 letter words. I’m not saying that family friendly comedians can’t be hilarious b/c Sinbad’s Nothin’ But the Funk is one of my favorite specials. I/We got hooked on Bob’s use of swears and my brother and I couldn’t wait for him to use one particular swear word but 15 minutes into the routine we realized there was a reason there were so many 10-12 year olds in the audience. We were looking forward to seeing the parents reaction to the explicit routine but the joke turned up to be on us. I can’t say for sure that I wouldn’t have attended but I definitely wouldn’t have bought the expensive seats that I did if I had known it was gonna be family friendly comedy. Those that love how many that uses 6+ a language might want to check out his earlier stand up routines because he really was hilarious.
The only comedians people I know know of is Jeff Dunham and Gabriel Iglesias. When I say: have you heard of John Pinette or Bob Marley? Actually funny comedians? No, just Gabe and Jeff. They're the only two stand up comedians on earth.
