Started listening to Bob Marley about 1978/1980 and still relevant uptill today. I have his LP at home. Iam a songwriter. Started writing at 37years and now Iam.63 I,am dumbfounded at this bundle of talent who is still very relevant in contemporary times even after 46 years. Simply amazing!

It's not a "hidden gem". Why do so many people think every song that isn't on the Legend compilation is a "hidden gem"? You know what's a hidden gem of Bob's? "Can't Bow Inna Babylon" or "Stranger On The Shore" or "They Set You Up My Son", among many others I could mention. But this is one of his mainstream songs.
Not just that, I sense that in this particular recording, the band was a little uncomfortable.. I have to keep studying, but Family man wasn't grooving as hard here.

I would love to hear him sing with his sons Damian, Stephen, and Ziggy. Too bad he died so soon. He was truly blessed and gifted. He did so much with reggae music to make it popular and spread a much needed message of love and to help supported so many people. He was a man with a big heart .

Once bob received his first check he went straight to Kingston Jamaica, purchased a mansion up a hillside in told the poor too come all are welcome 🙏🏽 Talk about a giving spirit 💕 incredible.!!!
