I found out in July that I have breast cancer. I am grieving the loss of a part of my body that sociologically, defines me as a woman in several different ways. And I still have the war of this disease to fight. This song to me, speaks of the process of what I'm going through and what I face alone. I am trying to build my identity as a woman. I have to reach into the place inside of me where she waits to be discovered. I have to overcome the early childhood trauma and comfort that little girl, so she can stay in the past yet become a different identity that knows her worth, and sees her beauty and strength regardless of what she was told that she was not. I have to refine my ego and let go of superficial beliefs about my outside beauty and fall in love with who I really am inside. And I am reaching out for God to become the father I never had or met in this process because my survival requires God's divine intervention. I discovered this song last week and it spoke to every part of this process and resonates with me so much that I finally am able to piece together these steps and construct the ultimate goal of saving my life, loving my creator, and finally discovering my life purpose.

Thick swirling stars above. 75mph pretty much uninterrupted for +/- 250 miles. I’m going through a breakup with a woman that’s the mother of my kids.. I take pride in being a father but she is preventing me from being in contact with my kids and it’s eating me alive.. most days I’m ok because I stay busy with CDL school & a part time job but some days I just feel so dark and alone. I am really starting to believe in the oneness of people, because these words are like my own thoughts. Awesome writer, and we all must go through these feelings then? In 2021 I lost my older sister, in 2022 my 12-year marriage ended, and I was forced to say goodbye to my dream job. I plunged into debt and doubted my ability to be happy. I started the month of December with the feeling that I had nothing to celebrate even after getting a new job.
