Using his techniques it wouldn't take a more experienced painter long at all to do a painting like this - there are videos on RU-vid of professional artists painting as they follow a Bob Ross video, who do end up with a finished or nearly finished painting, too! There's also literally no obvious or even subtle breaks in the 'action' so I honestly doubt they skipped anything.

I'm not sure if mine counts as a story. I'm only 23 so I know Bob just from people who loved watching him and RU-vid videos like this. But when I was having a horrible day, constant panic attacks and so exhausted I could cry, one of my clients had Bob Ross playing for her dog. I came in, sat down a minute to calm down and was enchanted by this man from that moment on. He instantly calms me down and makes me happy

One time I did exactly that, I tried painting a snowy mountain area and as soon as I made about 5 brush strokes I thought it was ruined, I whined about it and when my art teacher saw she grabbed my supplies and starting adding to it, and in about 5 minutes she made one of my favorite art pieces she’s ever done
