I'm an atheist and tend to get annoyed when people say that to me. Bob Ross is the only person who doesn't annoy me for saying that all the time.

They're not generally older people. I don't mind that they're being polite, I just don't share their beliefs. Finally, maybe most people are believers where you are, but definitely not in my crowd. I don't care if they believe, good for them. I'm not trying to stop anyone from believing, I just get mildly annoyed having people say that to me when I'm not a believer. And it doesn't matter if you don't see why it annoys you. I'm not speaking for all atheists everywhere, am I? I'm speaking for me. There was really no need to turn an off-hand comment into a discussion. I don't resent people who have beliefs, good for them. Megan Burritt I do. I grew up watching Bob, and now, I watch when I’m having a bad day, when I can’t sleep, and just for fun. Bob was one of those rare people who really deserved to live so much longer.

Yeah I remember being 4 years old and his shows were on TV and my mom would just leave it on since she used to paint and I ended up enjoying them since he would paints these amazing visuals. Not a painter today but I like to think my photography hobby is something I am into because it's another way of capturing the beauty in something like Bob Ross does with his paintings.
