“A tree needs some arms. He’s gonna reach out and gather up the sun. Become big and strong.” This man has such a beautiful soul. He sees the world like no one I’ve ever seen before.
Not only an incredible artist and painter, but an amazing human being. He may be passed away, but his legacy and spirit will never die! Miss ya bob! Keep beating the devil out of it in heaven for us all 😉
There's something really heartwarming about someone who finds enjoyment out of the little things and makes the most out of life, the fact that he smiles and enjoys cleaning the brush every time just shows how much of a humble, innocent guy he was. Very relaxing stuff to watch :)
I'm in Thailand and the heat makes it difficult to sleep, lots of people have advised me to get some sleeping pills of one kind or another, but I'd rather not if it can be avoided. Your videos, your art and your voice have been a great comfort in this regard. Thank you.
I have really bad sleeping problems. Listening to his voice before I fall asleep makes feel calm. He was an amazing person. I wish he could see that how many people loves him.
Who knows, maybe it does happen somewhere. We don't know all of the rules of our universe, and it could be possible that other universes could have formed with this happening there.
Yeah, I think of a multiverse. Somewhere is another world consisting of Bob's paintings. Mountains, forests, lakes, rivers, waterfalls, beaches, barns and cabins...
spectactuar mountains miss you bob ive watched you since 1983 may you rest in peace i watched your show on pbs when there was no cable where i lived i only got 4 channels and here you are today on you tube watching these episodes brings back so many memories..see you in heaven with my brush!!
I always feel a bit bad that Bob's rushing under the pressure of the clock, glancing over at it so he knows how fast he needs to go. I'd like to see him create at his own pace, make more meaningful artistic choices, change the things he doesn't like, add more detail, etc. It's a shame RU-vid wasn't around when he was alive because I could watch him paint for hours.
I don't paint his style anymore, but I watch his episodes quite often. He has the best audio comments of all the artist on the Internet. He was a good person that he has proved through his love of animals. He was clever and very human. I miss him very much. I won't say any names, but some of the People on the Internet are quite boring and arrogant. Washing the brush was one of his favorite things he did. Ciao, Bob. One of your fans
I've been watching these so long that I can tell what kind of day Bob was REALLY having, just by the tone of his voice, and his delivery. On a good day he's much more subdued, his tone calmer. Those are the ASMR gems, and he sets the tone right in the intro, if he's having a bad shoot he rushes through, speaks louder and more to the point. Either way he's been my therapist for the past two years, God bless him.
how can anyone possibly give this man a thumbs down ? please have the nerve to explain yourself, don't just hit the thumbs down and run away, have some guts
I'm a Christian and I don't like how he mocks the devil in his show. The devil is not something to kid around with. That's why I dislike this. You need the power of Christ to fight the devil nit a paint brush.
I want to own one of his paintings. See, I'm not a painter, I'm an author. I grew up watching Bob, and believe it or not, he inspired me to write. The way he creates worlds his way in his paintings, with both warmth and cold, life and death, and he sees beauty in all of it... It's what made me want to create my own worlds and tell stories within them.
i think bob was an example for the young artists at home with there moms buying them there paint just to paint like bob ross and i he is my idol to being a artist
I LOVE YOU BOB ROSS!!! Heavens a better place with you !!! The way he LOVED ANIMALS,. That's what I LOVED about him.... His stories he would tell about animals!!! I’m not artistic in any way shape or form and I was never into anything artistic until I started watching Bob and watching Bob makes me feel happy and calm when I’m anxious
I believe Bob was capable of checking “the old clock on the wall”, as he referred to it many times, the original painting, which many of us learned just by watching the special about him, and the off-screen monitor so he could see what we were seeing and which camera was on. He himself explained this in an episode. (As an aside, the only thing that he included in his world that wasn’t “happy” was the smog and pollution that contributed to the misty look at the bottom of the mountains. Again, his words.)
