I would love to see how well you guys could do this in something like Photoshop with advanced brushes. Actually being able to mix the paints and stuff would make it really interesting, haha. Perhaps even a cheeky Wacom tablet? I know, it's madness!
Tbh if you mix Ross and Trotts paintings together then it would literally be pretty accurate, like Ross had the better like shape but the blending using the spray tool on Trotts had a better colour match
Smith's looks like a pancake painting before it's been flipped. And the shade of the tower instantly makes it Barad-Dur like someone already said below.
hehe, not gonna lie, Trott complaining about not being able to draw a straight line when there are line and shape tools in Paint gave me a good lil giggle I always love the painting vids, I could watch so many of these, haha
These are really great. Helped me relax before bed too as an added bonus. Would love to see more of these! Also, think everyone does a great job, each of you gets pretty good takes on the pieces. Smith with almost abstract style, Ross with a postcard style and Trott with the closest colour-wise
After a day of illustration it's refreshing to see EVEN MORE illustration from my fav boiks! Although Paint is fun, Photoshop with a couple of free brush packs could also be interesting to see maybe?
Top tip: draw a circle around an area and use the bucket tool to fill it, then draw a smaller circle inside it and change the colour a tiny bit, fill it and repeat.
I love this series of videos, I think doing it in keeping certainly gives this series a lot of the humor, and some impressive outcomes considering, it's like when trott taped his hand up to a spatula, or the airsoft pancake vid, got to give these guys a challenge or else it might as well be the actual video of bob ross, y'know? But seriously, loved the vid guys.
Assuming you save these, how about taking your MSPaint pieces and touching them up in Photoshop or an editor of your choice to see how far you can take them? Love this series lads!
Ross: 8 Bobs Trott: 7 Bobs Smith: 6.5 Bobs I actually don't hate Smith's, I kinda like the heavier outlines to it. The only thing that dings it hard is that brown shell around the lighthouse's glow.
Lol, it's not the tool, you can do photorealism in MSpaint with a mouse, especially that newer version (3D Paint works too really well for what it is). The problem is time, Bob Ross' style was based on a method that gets quick good results and evolved from that foundation. Typically it's used to pump out paintings on the street but works nicely for TV length segments. Nothing wrong with quick painting, nor does it detract from the developed skill over the years, it's just meant to be done quickly while MS paint is going to take some...coaxing to do what you want to say the least.
@@theaveragegatsby4125 I always worry cuz of the story my mom told me about the ONE time she took acid. She thought the trees were trying to fucking kill her. XD Enjoy your trip(s), bro!
