This is consistently the best Magic the Gathering channel on the platform. Incredible creativity, spectacular gameplay, and a wonderful personality and sense of humor.
This is a good bookmark for MTGA filters docs.google.com/document/d/1GORw3VrFSD5zTE2-XlMcerLEov0TN5L1bgo5T0WsnkE/edit A couple of the most useful ones are "{O" for activated abilities (e.g. creatures for Agatha's Cauldron) and != to exclude ( !=pirate t=rat for a rat deck) if you know part of the name, like any search try to remember the most unique 3-4 letters e.g."ossf" for crossfire, "beac" for 'Chandra, Hope's Beacon' since there are so many Chandra cards.
okay but that went from “oh this is a funny bit” to “this is an extremely good and peaceful vibe” to “hey this is educational as fuck actually?” and like. what a power play that is
LVD, you finally have found your peak. This is the type of channel I knew you could make. Ever since a few years ago I made that comment that your channel was very informative and the gameplay was great but you were not having enough fun. It's a MTG the greatest game ever. You should be having fun and also show us you as character. This is exactly what I meant. Keep it up and here begins your ascension from legend to Legendary!
Love the Bob Ross deck building. I highly vote for more of this in your future videos. And the Who Wants to be a Millionaire was a great touch against the first opponent. I would of selected "Do you wanna build a snowman" 😂
And as usual, great video edits with focus on text box when you enter text or display the cards your talking about. Your content is great and provides real value!
This has got to be one of your best deck presentation to date. A true work of art! 47:10 Going for X = 1 only there would've done 3 + 3 damage, still generating 2 treasures.
Wow. This was impressive, LVD. The video style and editing was awesome, and your deck building prowess per usual. The Bob Ross tribute was beautiful man. Keep it up. This is how you do yotuube the right way, you set yourself apart as unique, and you've done that ; nobody makes magic content like Lucas.
**Please** do more intros like this, even if not following the bob-ross gimmick or doing it all the time; Your videos already are something I use to unwind and destress, so having a relaxing deckbuild prior to the games would do wonders to make that even better.
I was already delighted by the way the vid starts and I loved watching you put together a deck and go over some options but I absolutely LOST IT at the graphic and sound at the end of game one lololololllll
The fact that you turned that last match around despite being flooded with lands was so unbelievably impressive and honestly speaks volumes about your deck building skills. Well done man. Great video too.
Your editing was amazing this video. Thor is the Bob Ross of game development, you are the Bob Ross (kind, calming, encouraging, inclusive, supportive) of MTG.
I’ve gotta say, I’ve been watching LVDs videos for quite some time. I love the building deck together in the beginning of the video. The deep dive is usually helpful, although, we don’t know why “you” yourself chose the cards you did. It’s nice to see that aspect of your decks sometimes in my opinion
Haven't been playing Arena (or MtG for all that matters) for years. Still watching religiously every single vid from LVD. This has been one of the best in the last year or so. Sir, you are a blessing for those like me who enjoy the game but can't put any time and/or money into it. Thanks. :)
Love the deck Building part , I'm very excited, I hope to see more video like that especially for the brawl decks . Thank you for everything as always keep having fun and good work
Excellent work. Great bit at the beginning. Very happy to see someone casting Koth, as well. Now if only we could get standard at FNM again so I could play this at my LGS! ❤
Memes aside, that intro was really well thought, very informative. Being able to see the whole process of your deck building, what cards you add and why you add them, was a real eye opener. Hoping to see more of this intros in the futere. Great video as always !
Love your content! Not sure if the opening is a new style or if I merely hadn't come across it before, but the thought process behind the deck construction makes for a phenomenal addition to the videos. I know a lot of people really just want to see the games / wins & losses but seeing why a card is chosen can really inform how to use it and for (us) sideboard freaks what cards can be added to best of 3 games!
I'm sorry mate, but "generally feels more robust" feels like an understatement of the year. Surely you meant "elite, top-notch, on par with your best videos ever with the unforgettable classical music flourishes"?
Artist Talent has one of the cutest pieces of art in the game. I imagine the otter dabbing the tip of the brush on his tongue and nodding in satisfaction as he evaluates his genius. Now, if I had to rate the cuteness on a scale of , say, 'Awwwe, to LVD', I'd give it an eight. LVD is the true work of art here.
Really enjoyed the deck building intro, seems to take the same amount of time as the normal deck intro, but is far more entertaining/interesting. Love your deck building logic. Please do more or just replace the old intro with this :)
incredible funny video, thank you! I love Bob Ross. I recently watched a twitch channel with "the joy of painting." Very soothing. Happy to see you're a fan of his too!
I love this Mr LVD! Dry sense of humour as always but no doubt quite informative to new mtga users also! Great to switch up the format a bit. Worth a 🦕 and a 🦀 of course
Lvd you are effortlessly hilarious. Easily number 1 content creator for arena, love the videos and the breakdown of decision making with no salt. And now a bob Ross intro! Please don't ever stop doing what you do here 🙏 Edit: the game 1 who wants to millionaire popup into a concede I lol'd so hard
