Season 1 is so ugly

The series premiere of Bob's Burgers was 11 years ahead of that horror movie with the human burgers. Do you remember American Carnage? It was a dark comedy horror satire sort of like The Menu, except it was much better than The Menu at horror and suspense while still retaining a relaxed, comedic edge with the direction of its acting so that viewers will not be scared or creeped out for the whole time. The Menu was Aimee Carrero's movie while American Carnage was Jenna Ortega's movie. Ironically, American Carnage premiered on Aimee Carrero's birthday, July 15th, while The Menu premiered at Fantastic Fest four days before Jenna Ortega's birthday, September 27th. Both movies from 2022 are very notable for being somewhat successful and popular original properties in 2022, that know how to deliver on a diverse cast of believable characters and a message against the ruling class while still having an entertaining and edgy story to tell. They also give Aimee Carrero and Jenna Ortega a golden opportunity to step into more serious acting roles than they were used to having in Young & Hungry, Stuck in the Middle, The Portuguese Kid and Saving Flora from 2018, while still having the courtesy to reunite them with two voice actors with names and voices they _might_ recognize from Elena of Avalor, even though they never recorded lines together. Jenna Ortega got to meet Jorge Diaz and Allan Maldonado in American Carnage, while Aimee Carrero got to meet John Leguizamo and Arturo Castro in The Menu.

I love how Bob's Burgers made a callback to this joke of Gene interrupting Hugo with the fire extinguisher in Tweentrepeneuers.😆 It took seven years for a Bob's Burgers writer to come up with a new edition of that joke, when Jocelyn is interrupting Louise with the soda spritzer.
