Bob's From The Basement, Battle of the Bulge, German King Tiger Tank Build, 6/11/24, 

Thanks Bob... fun stuff.. enjoyed the sound track of the movie..one of my favorite parts!

This movie, along with a model produced around the same time, is responsible for my lifelong affection for the M47 tank ( the M46 turret was very similar to the M26 Pershing's, I believe what you are displaying is actually the M47) facing off against Chafee tanks in the battle scenes, it looked monstrous and unbeatable, actual Tigers and Tiger IIs even more so of course,, but these just looked beautiful in that color scheme, loved them

Interesting idea. I never thought of making a model of the movie tank. BTW, the barrel is a bit bent to the left.

We agree ? an U.S tank used as Tiger/ panther : it's not O.K !! hopefully todays movies are more serious....take care
