I was only watching this yesterday. RIP Bob Saget. One of the ballsiest comedians ever.

Norm made my life. I talked to Norm for a few minutes at a show and it was the coolest thing that has ever happened to me.

"I don't want to make fun of you, you're my friend." There is something about that coming form a comedian like Norm that is pretty impactful honestly. Bob even seem to get a little emotional when thinking about it.

RIP Bob Saget and Norm Macdonald. Two legends gone too soon. Hope you guys are together and bringing big laughs whenever you may be ❤

Everything you said about bobs eulogy of norm was spot on , I felt the exact same way it was so sad but so needed , norm was extraordinarily brilliant.

I was crying as well listening to Bob’s podcast about Norm. Howie - you mentioned taking a deep dive into Norm stuff after the sad news. The really odd thing for me was that I was in a deep dive for 2-3 weeks prior to his untimely passing. I was then in total shock. Still am. Still watching Norm videos daily. May he Rest In Peace

Thanks, Howie’s team for posting this. So special to see & hear Saget talking about Gilbert and Norm. Thank goodness we’re alive in an age where the internet- for the good- has allowed us to sit down with people we respect, admire, love… and get closer to them, like this video. To be able to see the humanity and kindness, realness, in Bob and Howie, talking about the old days, feeling their heartbreak about the loss of Norm…It’s special stuff. When Saget passed away, we all heard how much of a generous, sweet, kind fellow he was. That’s so clear here. Gilbert, too. Just absolute mensches. We have to be thankful, even though these icons- Bob, Norm, and Glibert- aren’t here anymore. Thankful to have been alive in their lifetime. They made us laugh. Hard. In a f’d up world, laughing is such essential medicine. ❤

It's funny that they brought up the subject of gen z vilifying him on tictock. 1 day after his death as the tributes pour in with only 1 thing in common. No matter how people knew him or for how long, the consensus seems to be that Bob was an incredibly kind and loving man. RIP Bob Saget❤

Bob was such an awesome guy. I once left a comment on his YT channel and he responded overnight. Gilbert was on his podcast, and it was great. My comment was “when is Norm gonna be on?” And he quickly responded “it will happen”. I felt his love for Norm in that he bothered to answer me. Tragically, the episode could never be.

2 great Canadians passed away a year apart.. and both legends, and both started with the letter N. and both died of cancer. and both kept it from the limelight.. NEIL PEART ( drummer for RUSH) & NORM MACDONALD. other than some family members , I can't think of any others that shook me so much with their deaths.

I had to do a double take at this title. We lost 3 greats in a very short time.

i've now watched a few podcasts from Howie. tbh, i'm quite surprised at how compelling Howie is with his discussion so far. i hope this does well. and having said that, Howie is going to have to go out on some limbs at some point, and he might pay the price. frankly, i hope he does, so others with less power and influence can come up behind him, and we can crush the censorship/cancel culture tsunami that has consumed comedy over the last couple of years.

Howie, I remember when you were on Make Me Laugh. You were funny AF! I knew whenever you were on I would have a great time watching the show! The first time you put the glove on your head, pop shot out of my nose!

Norm liked to mess with peoples' expectations. If you asked him to tell a story or joke he wouldn't want to tell it. If you expected him to trash Don Ohlmeyer he'd say "Nah he's' a good guy." Same thing with him when it came to politics and religion in comedy. You see Norm is going to be on a roast and you think he's going to crush everyone, then he does the complete opposite.

Does anyone else now just have this urge to look at him and try to memorize his ticks in the moments of this video? I'm trying more than when he was alive to sort of take him in as a person, especially given how recent this interview was. There he is and he's fine in November. This really sucks man, like it did with Norm.
