This is the oldest restaurant in Las Vegas. You use to take a dirt road and look for a blue light in the sky to find it. They still have that blue light up on the entrance.

This is an awesome place. I’m 51. Used to live in studio city California. My parents and I have been back in the day. The old Vegas. Happy to see this restaurant is still around. Great job on the detail in the videos. 👍😋

Used to live about five minutes from Bob Taylor’s when I used to live in Vegas. It’s a great locals spot. I remember the prime rib was delicious

I really do like you video production and execution. I'm now going to sub you channel. I don't eat to live... I LIVE to EAT!!! I had family living in the Vegas area, so the bright lights and glitter does not bedazzle me. However, good food does. When ever I've got to pass through Vegas, I head up to the Rail Road Pass on the Boulder highway. Now! I'm going head out to this place and have a steak in an Old School Steak Restaurant!!! Their prices overall look very reasonable. I would have to go for the 22 ounce bone in ribeye. Not a big fan of mesquite but I think an exception could be made here

Yeah, you have to like the mesquite-grilled taste to truly enjoy the steaks. But once in awhile if you want a change, it's good.

It's always better to eat off the Strip. When you live in Las Vegas you know all the best places aren't in the casinos. That's a Perfect steak.

That shrimp cocktail is very expensive, especially if you are Canadian like myself. That’s almost 20 dollars for 4 previously frozen medium shrimp

Vegas used to have shrimp cocktails for 50 cents & $1. Depends where you go. Steakhouse on the Strip are like airports. Just cuz you're on the Strip it'll cost more. But now even off Strip places are charging more. Steakhouses at the Strat, Venetian, etc are ridiculous. Life in the desert. It's what is is now.

We really have to get Mike Chen out there, just to see him demolish the steak. Anyways, it's been a consistently good place to eat for me for the last 30 years, certainly more consistent than The Golden Steer. The prime rib is excellent.

I was full, but not too bad. I said in the video I wanted to take some home, so I stopped when I was comfortably full. I've eat up to a 72oz steak for a challenge. But I don't enjoy the food as much when I'm that full.

Another great review. i am kinda torn on this place . the online reviews are so so . what time and day did you go? reading the reviews it seems the bad time to go is the weekends . another place to try next time i am in town

Yeah, you have to like "grilled" steak and Seafood... and I've seen the bad reviews. But my friends love it here. I went around 2pm on a Saturday. It wasn't busy at all. But there was a lot of things going on in Vegas on that particular Saturday.
