I had to stop by today after hearing about Lady Red's passing. I never had the pleasure to meet her but only know her through Hey Qween and social media. The love, reverence and laughter that I saw between her and Johnny was a pleasure to behold. She came across as someone who not only had love and reverence for those that deserved it, but for herself as well. Enjoying her fried chicken like a goddess from another world, a better world. Like a patron saint of all that feels good, a hedonistic heart and soul painted for the children to gasp and behold such coy loveliness bat her eyelashes behind the whip of a fan. Just being who she was was an act of defiance against the system. Lady Red, you are irreplaceable and my heart goes out to those that had the honor to truly know and share love with you because I'm certain that there will always be a space left by your absence that no one can fill.

Sean Archer Sasha is actually doing a lot, but her achievements are less commercial I guess. She hosts her own show called Nightgowns in which she offers a stage to a lot of different type of drag queens/kings and queer performers. Recently she even brought this show to London, which I think is really fascinating. On a more commercial note: she just released a really well put together music video, singing a classic. It’s rather original compared to all the (crappy) dance music most of the other queens release. She is doing great!

Sean Archer its funny you speak so highly of violet when in actuality her success on the show wasnt too different than Tyras was plus Tyra had fierce looks on the show shes the first queen to win without lipsyncing and to perform 3 reveals on the show and also the first queen to win 3 challenges show some respect

See Todrick is incredibly talented and a fierce entertainer. I just wish he wasn't ever on Drag Race. He's great but he's a really bad fit for the show - his appearances as a choreographer are mean, one-note, and belong on a lesser reality TV show.

Kandice King I'm sure, but it's not fun to watch. The only criticism he ever gives is "you have to get this right or it will suck" which isn't constructive or entertaining. Alyssa in the same role threw shade but also seemed warmer and like she had the contestant's best interests at heart. Todrick is just mean.

I love Bob and I respect her opinions about RuPaul, but I do not agree. I don't think that a person's contributions to the LGBT+ rights movement make them immune to criticism; we can all do better as people, especially somebody who is an ambassador of our community and has had rather narrow-minded opinions about trans people in the past. I will say though that some people do go way too far with their criticism, such as those who would consider banning or boycotting Drag Race over RuPaul's comments, which is ridiculous when you consider the amount of representation and voice that the show has given to minorities within the LGBT+ community (which is something about which I do agree with Bob).

I don't think Bob was saying Ru is immune to criticism so much as she was calling out said people who go to far with the criticism. Hence the "burn the village, but at least we got the queen." Mostly I think Bob was pointing out that its kind of impossible for a person to be "unproblematic" and to just learn how far to take the battle.

The music of Ke$ha legit? She's probably a very good woman, she certainly is a victim, but from what we now know now, her music was extremely compromised and beyond her power of control and creativity. If Bob didn't know anything at that time, it means that he was not as close as he says. He didn't even put any hint about the stuff that exploded short after this interview, and that was very big news. Poor Ke$ha, I hope she's doing well after all those molestations.

In 10 regular and 3 All-Stars seasons we have 3 black winners: Bebe, Tyra and Bob. LOVE ALL 3 OF THEM even though: (1) the new crop of fans are racist af (2) the producers clearly don't want anyone black to win ever again...I still live for these iconic black goddesses

ikr ? they're trying so hard to make the top 3/ top 4 the whittest possible this season again... no latina queen left, no asian queen left, 2 out of 5 black queens left, but 4 out 6 white queens left. controversial double shantay between 2 white girls, 3 black girls eliminated in the middle of the season, 2 latinas right at the beginning... i smell caucallusion.

that double shantay was the first time this season 2 white girls had to lipsynch against each other, and one of them was making a fool of herself. that's as much of a coincidence as lighting after thunder. one white queen winning the competition ain't racist, but the show having a consistent history of favouriting white queens first and pretty black queens second is questionable, yes.
