OK when I read the name "Bob the drag queen" I'll admit I didn't expect much. I'll admit when I saw "Vogue" I expected less (Cos it feels like any queen could do Vogue)... and that was by far one of the most amazing lip sync performances I've ever seen and the most creative combo of song and spoken word, holy crap she better be on Drag Race this year because that's a fucking amazing queen! Hell, her wig came off and I was still living for it, just amazing!

***** That isn't spoken word. Spoken word is an established style of spoken poetry. Akin to the Beat movement and dej jam poetry. That's spoken word. What Bob did was lip sync to a tutorial on how to vogue. Chill.
OMG, the Crystal Labejia part kills me. it's literally the most epic shade I've ever seen. I'm so glad Bob did this song. I needed this and didn't even know it.

Watching this makes me so excited for her for drag race, we need a queen who isn't afraid to not take herself so seriously and have fun and throw it right back at you, yes!
I mean really, this performance was 'A star is born!'. Even though many people had known how amazing Bob was in New York, it wasn't till just a few months before this was shot I came across their channel on RU-vid with all those amazing performances. To me, and to many other fans I'm sure, it was just utterly gratifying to see Bob get the proper attention they deserve. Now none of us know Bob well in person but I truly hope that he feels the love and respect so many fans have for him. He's in that handful of Queens, growing by the year since drag has become so popular, that will always be able to pull an appreciative crowd who genuinely love the performer and performance. It helps that Bob has a massive ego to boot of course!
I'm rooting for her on drag race. She's so talented and entertaining. If she doesn't make top 3, I'll be sad. Out of all the rumored queens, she seems like the one of the better queens.
Omg.. Did anyone else catch the Mary Katherine Gallagher reference from when she was in her movie "Superstar" at 3:34 when Bob put her hands under her pits and then smelled them???? I AM DYING LOL.
Ya know this makes me wish that Rupauls drag show was an actual drag show on the show. Like literally and hour of each girl performing her act, like a real show. Not the cheesy lame competitions and a hand picked, copyright approved song.

just realized she covers her mouth when she lip syncs the word "superstar". this was before the cast for s8 was released so she was most likely poking fun at the gag order issued by the show to all the contestants not being able to speak about the show prior to press releases. what a smart, cheeky reference! fuck i love her

Gosh! This artist really put the hours to put this art show out. I saw the original video of a dance instructor teaching vogue on RU-vid some time ago. What a great idea! I m a fan Best show I have seen in years.
most people have no idea how this clip influenced many drag queens in doing their mix tracks mix tracks back then used to be exclusively just songs without dialogues (im not saying bob invented it but she defo helped popularized it)
