This band is totally underrated. Don't understand why they don't get more radio time. Should be on Sirius Octane instead of playing Shinedown to death.
good to know. I've been trying to toon my radio in my room but my mom said its not the greatest channel to be on. My cousin is actually the girl who is playing pool and finds out she's been cheated on, she did tour with them and was married to the guy who did pyrotechnics and photography for them
Holly D....It's just bad timing...I guess......In the 90's these guys would been the next G&R ....I'm 47 years old and I just saw this video a couple of years ago ......it's awesome music...didn't even know it existed anymore. Great talent and a great song.
I can't believe this came out 14 years ago. Bobaflex really is one of the most underrated bands of all time. They've evolved over the years and a single album is a journey. I was ~18 or so and found Bobaflex by accident. I went to see Megadeth play at one of the early Gigantours circa 2005-6 somewhere in NH, I forget which town. We arrived early, and the first act (Bobaflex) was playing before people entered the venue. I remember what seemed like half the band constantly running around the stage playing songs that genre jumped in the best way and had a stage presence that honestly eclipsed many of the following big time bands. Years later every time i follow up on them I find something new. I hope they never stop.
They're from my hometown (chemical valley). I've got to see them 3 times. Last year I got to see them on my 65th birthday. I was right by the stage and got some great pictures! I love them!
@@murdermuseum8280 @Murder Museum They aren't broken up, Shaun left the band to spend more time with family and the guys decided to change their name to The Lonely Ones out of respect for Shaun since he is a founding member of Bobaflex.

They are by far the most down to earth people who also have amazing talent that I know. They know my brother Bubba is their biggest fan and they take pictures with him and treat him so well. Thanks to this band for being so good to their fans. :)
Takes me back to my early 20s. Living in Columbus Ohio this song was huge on 99.7 The Blitz. Seen them several times. They’ve changed their name since then. The memories

there's nothing left to say.. even at 2014, this song is still discovered by many people and still make them addicted in the very few seconds. I don't wanna say it's an one hit wonder because this band still creating many world wide hits nowadays... but it's really an underrated song for the time that's sure..and not so many hits with real core power chords available nowadays..

I can't believe how different Marty and Shaun looked when this video was made. They look so much better now I think. The long black hair suits them both well, not to mention they look more like brothers now than they did when this video was made.

This was my anthem when it came out in my early 20's... So many drugs, booze and women. Fun times but I'm glad I got clean. Proud that they rep my home state, Midwest has made some awesome muzic
I saw these guys close with this at Band Camp in WI and I had never heard it before honestly and I thought it was a cover when I first heard it but this song has alot of meaning to it and I love these guys!
They live in Columbus now but are from Point Pleasant WV. They only been in Columbus in more recent times. They have several interviews even stating where they are from. Seen them live many occasions and got lucky enough to party with them after the show once or twice. They are awesome on and off the stage. .
Sherry Parcell yeah they are really cool guys, I knew they live in Columbus now but I always see people arguing where they are from.. all they have have to do is read their bio. It says it all there. They live in Columbus but are from Point Pleasant. I've seen them play for the MC group Brothers of the Wheel as a kid growing up.

seen these guys 8 times, drank with em a time or two even smoked a bowl with em back stage with royal bliss once...every time they come to town they put on a great show...
i been watchin bfx since like 1998 or 99 back when they used to come Cbus and open/play shows wth local bands. stil love to see em, one of the best bands to see live
i have a question.. i downloaded a few songs by this band.. just to see what they sounded like before i got them.. i like them alot.. but in one of the loads.. there was a song titled under six feet underground... and i know it was a misslabled song.. cuz i know what that song sounds like.. but the song on there was really good.... it had something to do with candy cane... either a drug or a girl not sure.. sounded very much like bobaflex.. but i cant find it on any of the albums..

Shawn played lead vocals with Marty guitar and much backup.. two brothers... and one great band( so glad it was small beach bar when they first started touring.... that I had opportunity to see and meet personally) Great musical talents and awesome people....every time they are near my area... I am always there. These guys rock with all their heart and their soul....
@chip4501 me too! these guys are awesome, great band great songs, and really good guys all around, I ahd opportunity to meet them few years ago and it was nice to meet a good bunch of people that put all they have into their music. I know they are going to soar with their music. These guys are awesome talent and awesome people.
I'm hopeful that I'll find a place I can call Home again. But since They passed away over the past 2 years. I dont have a Home anymore. I'll keep taking the Blue pills and keep moving forward through it. XoRaven;>☆♡~

@chip4501 i feel you didnt read my comment right.. the song was misslabeled. the title i gave isnt what the song really was... the song im talking about sounds alot like them.. if it is them or not im not sure. but the songs chorus leads me to believe the song is called candy cane or something.. not sure its if its talking about the drug or a girl.... i have all albums by bobaflex and have never come across the song again. i appreciate you trying .. but it didnt help..
