The team that makes shots closer to the rim and gets more rebounds is the one that usually wins. I would love the confirm this against Rockets small ball.
Been watching boban since he showed up in San Antonio. The minutes thing is fetish of all of these genius coaches. He could always play minutes. Just watch boban get up and down the court! No problems at all. A good coach would ride boban to a title.
@@DreamyWoIf , you don't believe it because you have not seen it. I've seen it since 2014 when he arrived with the Spurs. The Spurs thought him how to play NBA basketball but he was already skilled. Boban pregame workouts are legendary. There is nothing wrong with his conditioning. When boban is in the game, it's always the opposing center who wants out of the game. Did you see Jokic? He was demoralized. Did you see the coach on the bench? He had no answer for boban. Boban leaves a long trail of such victims. Even more
@@citizenscapital2458 The fact is that he can’t run up and down the court with the more athletic players. He becomes a huge liability on D, especially against a more athletic big men who can shoot the ball. Back when big men were just supposed to post up and not shoot from deep in a league that was not as fast paced as today’s NBA, Boban would have likely been a star.
@@DreamyWoIf the fact is that no one in the NBA can guard him, not even double team him. You can not foul him because he can shoot free throws. Boban is the mismatch, that is all that's needed. Why not make other teams adjust.? They have no counter. Oh, and Boban is an outstanding passer. Why would a coach leave 20 points & 10 rebounds on the bench every night? 5 minutes 1st qtr 5 minutes 2nd qtr 5 minutes 3rd qtr 5 minutes 4th qtr 20 minutes per game. See! I fixed it. I've given boban his minutes. Me, I'd ride boban to a championship with the 4-1 set. Opposite from the well known 1-4 set. It be like taking some whenever you wanted it. Btw, boban can shoot the 3 too. He is a high level 3 ball shooter.
Bobie is a treasure! He's a talented player, but more importantly....he's a good person who tries to be a good example to team mates and youngsters who look up to him.
DeAndre Tanaka he isn’t 6’10. Embiid measured at 6’11 and if you look at the All-Star photo he towers over D’Angelo Russell, Embiid, Blake Griffin (measured at 6’10 and Jokic is cleary 3-4” taller) Vucevic (measured at 7’)
@@ryanpacatte6054 I mean put him even at 7'0 and he would do nothing. He is still ain't good though. Still a scrub. Don't want a disrespect. I can understand the other things, even points but how can you average 4.0 rpg as a 7'4 and 291 lbs center?
Imagibe blaming rudy. Sure he ironically caught the virus in an effort to show that the virus thing is overhyped, but the nba wouldve been stopped regardless of one french big man catching it or not, maybe wouldve bought a day or two. MAX. So stop blaming him
It seems that all the talk lately is that we need a team of five point guards......small ball. Boban proves that there is no substitute for a talented big man! I love watching him play. Doesn't he bring to mind the great centers of the past??
Boban is talented but the problem is no team want him inside the court that too long imagine he scored 31 points and 17 rebounds vs the joker this is insane.
How do you solve a problem like Marja-novic? (Singing to the tune of the song from The Sound of Music.) Makes me wonder why the Mavs don’t design more plays involving Boban.
If i were to built a dream team i will start Joel Imbid at point guard, Rudy Gobert at shooting guard, Bol Bol at small forward, Kristaps Porzongis at power forward, Boban Marjanovic at centre and Taco fall at playing Coach. This team is unbeatable, land of the NBA giants.
In the half court era of early 2000 he would have been an all-star level center. Today he's a guy that comes in for couple of minutes to exploit a mismatch.
Spur fan since 1973. Yes, they have let many gems go. Pop and Spurs had first divs on him and somehow let him get away. The city of SA loved him. Detroit & Clippers have also let him walk 🤔 Even Carlisle kinda stumbling around trying to figure how to use him when all you have to do is let him play basketball. Just look at the variety of shots he makes in this Denver game, his defensive presence, court presence, confidence, ability to get up and down the court. He dropped 31 & 17 on both the joker & Carlisle 🤣
