Hey guys, just in case you're wondering, we filmed this episode a while back when it was safe to travel. If you are in a country that is in lock-down, please follow government advice and stay indoors - this means no visits to the crag (even if it is local)! Stay safe, stay psyched! Team BB
ignac some are really difficult some are easy like a jungle gym, trees that crown quite low down are really useful cos you can practise bouldering type stuff on them without it being dangerous. The hardest part normally is getting up a branchless trunk to the first branch, then it’s relatively easy. I don’t go high though, I don’t want to have an accident and burden the healthcare system. The branchless trunks are really interesting to climb cos there are lots of different methods, and it’s pretty tough physically and technically too sometimes.
Just got my hangboard set up, will be hangboarding for the first time after climbing for just over a year. How often you reckon I can hangboard safely, was thinking twice a week.
Although I'm sure it's just a script you're reading, using a VPN actually does not make you less likely to get hacked. The vast vast majority of websites now use HTTPS and unless you are both in a public place and entering sensitive information on a regular HTTP site the VPN does nothing to protect you. Most hacks these days are from large corporations databases getting hacked which again a VPN does not protect you from. Great climbing vid as always!
Surely the fact that it can protect you from some hackers makes it less likely for you to get hacked which from what your saying it seems that is the case
5:30 haha, your comment made me think of this quote from Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels Bacon: Squeeze in if you can. Left leg, right leg, your body will follow. They call it walking.
Amazing as always guys - much as it pains me to watch while in quarantine, loved the bants and mix of different shots 😍 hope you guys are keeping safe and strong
Hey guys just wondering wether you guys are still in France. I’ve been a big fan of you guys for a long time and you guys actually got me into bouldering. I’ve lived in Paris for about 2 years now and I’ve been going to Fontain for about a year now. It’s such a great spot and it’s nice seeing it get recognized. Hope you enjoy or enjoyed your time over here.
Does anyone know where I can find this awesome intro song ? A name or something ? The edit and general quality of the video is sick guys, keep up the good work !
So what's the level of pof-usage in the forest these days? I heard there was a movement to stop it, but having not been there in a long time wasn't sure.
Class as always guys. I've only ever climbed indoors and only started that at the end of last year. Missing it! These videos make me wanna try some outdoor bouldering though. Any tips for good beginner climbs in the wild or the sort of level you should be indoors before taking it outside?
get on mountain project and see if there are any problems around your level. Outdoors is quite a bit more difficult than indoor grades most places. Just find something easy to try and have fun. If everything that is established is too hard, walk around and you might find something you can climb that no one else thought worthy to post/establish.
My first ever trip to Fontainebleau (almost exactly a year ago) I could climb about 6a indoors. We went to the Buthiers region and I could do quite a few of the orange circuit! I recon those are probably grade 3s and 4s. Everything is very close to the car park, so it’s a nice place to start off. Came back in august and came to realize that some of the climbs I struggled with are actually ridiculously easy, but it’s just pretty f’in scary outside for the first time.
Watching this video from Cape Town South Africa, Day 10 of lockdown and seeing this is driving me mad. So sad we cant go outdoors to climb. But once the world starts turning im spending every day outside 😄
We filmed this a while ago before everything kicked off in Europe and when travel was permitted and safe. Please don’t think we’re out climbing being reckless, we definitely advise everyone to stay inside and safe for the time being!!!
that's great to hear and I thought as much. I'm a huge fan but it might just be worth making it clear that this was recorded before the lockdown, then you don't have to waste time replying to people like me :)
Wait a second... If you promote an add blocker you are also promoting something that goes against your own job as it stops people from clicking ads. Hmmmm
They endorse products on their vids, that's different from pop up ads, facebook ads and all that. if you watch the vid you see them endorse something, you're not clicking on an ad
@@over181471 it's not their job to promote the ads at the beginning of their youtube video, which is automatically generated and probably has nothing to do with the video's subject anyway. unless there's some sort of clause about that in their user agreement, they're not 'going against their own jobs'.
Im a big fan of your crew and videos. But if this was recorded during the pas couple of weeks, I personally think it is really irresponsible. Mainly because climbing is a risk sport and doing risk sports in these bad times is not that social thinking of all the hard work the hospitals having to do saving a lot of peoples lives right now. If anything would happen to you, I wouldnt expect any care. Even more irresponsible to go to another country for that now, if you want to be a risk to people, why not do that in your own country. The sensible thing right now would be to stay home, be safe and dont do anything too risky, to not be a burden to the care takers who are working their asses off to cure people and deal with this crisis. Sorry guys, I just had to say this. If this was shot before hell broke lose a couple of weeks ago, never mind the above. But it needs to be said.
We filmed this before everything kicked off. When we left for the trip everything was rather calm, and travel was totally safe. Since then we’ve all been in lock down and following all the rules, definitely aren’t out there Climbing right now! Thank you for your concern🙌🏻
@@BoulderingBobat thats cool dude, Im glad to read that. Stay safe! We have a trip there planned end of may but thats probably not going to happen either. We're all in this mess together. Im still a fan! :)
