Why are you keeping the rear brake torque arm? You don't need it on a hard tail. You can afix the brake direct to the frame, nearer the axle somewhere.

A small lithium ion battery would have sorted out that battery mounting problem. About 1/3 of the weight of a traditional battery and about half the size.

The bike looks really cool like this with bare metal and the scorch marks from the welds still showing. You shouldn't paint it or put decals on it, it looks awesome as is. Nothing shiny or flashy. It looks mean!

Great stuff you got going here! Awesome build! If I may suggest (totally off topic): careful with the background music buddy!!! I received a slap in the wrist just recently for this and it was a nightmare to solve!!! Would hate to see these awesome videos taken down for a copyright strike. Increasing the volume of your main track should solve the background music of the radio. Ride safe!

I think the brace for the rear brake looks a little funny . I would have bent it to mirror the frame of the hard tail .

replace the side brake pedals with a front bracket, where you can fit the brake pedal and the brake pedal. hugging

Why don't you open the side of the battery box, so that the battery can slide to be removed, without removing the whole box. That way the box can be welded to the frame. Keep going man, great job. Thank me later. 🤣 🤘

This bike looks like you found a picture of my sportster bobber and are trying to copy it with a honda, same tank with sight gauge, same seat, same bars, if it gets painted flat black then it's definitely a copy

U started out with a good idea then threw it in the too hard basket then almost redeemed yourself then said that’s too hard too man poor effort You should of tig welded the hole in peg then got it to fit on the the new peg holder and drilled it out and fit it

Everything you’ve done so far has been great, but that battery box has got to go. How about making a 3” wall bottom box with nuts welded to each side? Then make a 1” top box with square washers welded to each side to cover the battery. Now take 2 long bolts to secure the battery in the box. Now secure the tray to the flat bar stock going from frame rail to frame rail. Now you don’t have to remove the whole box to remove the battery.

screw that battery box. Build something out of angle steel or aluminum with 2 long threaded rods and nuts with washers, like in an old car

@@johnhipp8040 I've got 38 years of my work out on the street and a very good reputation. I also have a thriving business and don't advertise, have chased magazines away since the early 80's, ( i was doing this long before youtube and computrers) In 88 I built for a customer, a bike that took 2nd in the rats hole show in sturgis, around 93/94 I built a bike for a customer that took a bunch of 1st places in the EasyRiders shows where they sent him around the country and that bike also took a 2nd in the overall last show. I've designed ignition system and helped in designing a template that allows you to dual plug a shovelheads in 15 minuets. I've helped many people by fixing their shit right so they could go to work, and worked on many Paterson police bikes too. That's just the highlites I can think of off the top of my head. How about you??? OH and I'm no where near finished yet because I'm starting an American made bicycle company.
