In today's video I will be doing a wear test with the new NARS Naturally Radiant Long-Wear Foundation and the Bobbi Brown Skin Long-Wear Weightless Foundation. I apply one side of my face using the NARS foundation and the other side using the Bobbi Brown foundation. I wanted to wear both foundations all day to see which one holds up during a full 8 hours. I didn't expect the end result to be what they were! I really hope you guys enjoyed my review and wear test of the new NARS and Bobbi Brown foundations and much as I enjoyed filming it!

Thank you! thank you for doing this review/wear test I was on the fence for both of these foundations. We both have the same skin tones and I liked very much how the bobbi brown foundation looked on you. I did notice smile lines with the nars and I just don't want to be bothered with that. I have the nars been wanting to get the bobbie brown, but I now live in a tent(by choice) in a small rural town where I can't go test shades, and I suffer from "shade match fear" eventually I will take the leap. Great vid, very informative!

I love both BUT...my favorite is the Bobbi Brown. I received so many compliments and my skin looked GOOD. I used the Bobbi Brown moisturizer/primer as well...the bomb!

I have both and they have different finishes so its hard for me to compare. Bobbi Brown is definitely more matte but I prefer dewy finish unless Im being photographed. I love both but for different reasons and different occasions.

You must have been reading my RU-vid mind. I legit was going to ask you to compare these foundations in your haul video. But I decided that I was being too needy, lol. Both of these foundations looked so good on you--I would have never known it was 2 different foundations. I think this video has swayed me to try the Bobbi Brown over the Nars foundation if I have to choose one over the other. Great video :)

I agree. I got samples of both foundations. The NARS foundation felt heavier on the skin than the Bobby Brown foundation. I have smile lines as well and they definitely showed through the NARS foundation.

The Nars definitely creased around my laugh lines but I loved it outside of that. My skin is oily so I may need a different primer to use it. I’m going to try out bobbi brown to see how it goes.

SIS!!!! When I tell you that you have come throuuuuuuugh with this comparison video. I have the BB foundation and I do love it, but I have been going back and forth about the Nars because I am oily so I have to wear that foundation a certain way in order for me it to work for me. BUT the finish of the NARS is sooooooo good. Thank you for this comparison I'll keep rocking with Bobbi.

OMG have you tried the Maybelline Shine Free Foundation stick??? It's my favorite. For high end I love the Hourglass foundation stick. I still haven't tried the Bobbi Brown or the ABH but I want to!

I thought the difference between the two would be skin type. I've tried the Nars and it stayed flawless all day. However, am a normal to dry skin type. Maybe I'll try Bobby in the summer since it seems more matte. Great Review!!

sheseams I agree with this! Skin type definitely plays a huge part in how a foundation's formula performs. In fact someone with even slightly oily skin should be avoiding ANY foundation that claims RADIANT or LUMINOUS lol. It will only accentuate the things you want to hide. Nars works amazingly well on my skin and I am normal to dry...

I've noticed that you can't reliably pair every foundation with every primer out there. Now that you know the Bobbi Brown foundation is compatible with the Too Faced Mattifying Primer consider that the NARS Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation is just not compatible with it. I encourage you to perhaps try another wear test with one of the three NARS primers. I think you may have different results after the 8 hours.

I have them both and I like them both. I wear the same shades as you and I’m liking the Bobbi Brown foundation better also. I prefer the finish and long wear of the Bobbi Brown foundation better.

Both foundations look GORGEOUS on you. At the beginning of the video I was loving the NARS a little more because of the glam factor. After seeing the results at the end of the day, I 'm going to go with Bobbi Brown. While both are beautiful, the deciding factor for me were the smile lines. Since I'm looking for a better foundation for my everyday life and for shooting on my own channel, I have to take the smile lines seriously. Of course, you have amazing skin and can get away with both easily. However, I'm going to play it safe and go with Bobbi Brown. I hope I see an improvement in my pictures and in my videos. I'll certainly be back to provide an update and to learn from more of your well crafted videos.

Hmmmm I like the finish on both. It honestly seems like you used one foundation. None of my foundations are like that I need to get it together!! At first you could tell the color difference but they just blended together in the end.

Hey! Have you tried using a little less foundation? You have beautiful skin! Also, the instructions for nars states that you only need one pump and that really goes a long way. It seemed like you used alot more than that. Perhaps the amount of foundation used is why you saw the creasing. Personally, I think both foundations are excellent and you really can't go wrong with both. I use one pump for my whole face and honestly have no issues with lasting power or performance.

NixxNine I definitely agree with you. NARS foundations are meant to be worn in a minimalist style as far as quantity. I creased like crazy when I put more than recommended, which applies to all their formulas. When I use less no problems. Also, I bake a bit more in my smile lines with this formula because it doesn't set matte.

wow, thanks for the video... I would have to say, after seeing your video I want to try Bobbi Brown. I like the matte finish.. I LOVE Too Faced foundation, but unfortunately after about 4 hours of wear the foundation will appear VERY dewy, and I hate that... I am looking for a foundation that can keep a long wear matte finish. Most of them will say "all day matte", but that's just not the case. So, I am excited to try Bobbi brown .. I get extremely oily in the T-zone and around the nose area, so i hope this works... Thanks for the review.

I have both and had pretty much the same opinion. I did use Bobbi Browns vitamin enriched primer with the Bobbi Brown foundation and used MAC printer with Nars. I did find I have some oiliness after about 8 hours, and could us a blot with Bobbi Brown. I have combination skin. I had a bit less oiliness with Nars

Am I the only one that likes the nars, I agree that the nars stood out with the smile lines more but every foundation I’ve worn does that but the Bobbi looked abit too natural the nars give you a more lifted glow to your skin, just me I guess 🤷🏾‍♀️😄 great review 👍🏾
