Awe Bob your colour wheel is invaluable. I always use it as a guide when painting. keeping it simple in my opinion is the way to go. Love your personality and of course your paintings. Thankyou.🙂🙂🙂
BOB, Your style, approach and teaching methods are brlliant. I am very interested in your colour wheel. Why not make it available to everyone through Amazon? I am in UK and it is not straight forward to pay in pounds. I simply love your colours and how you make it sound so easy to learners and I bet it is not as easy as it looks!!
Is that cold press watercolour paper 300lb that your using .? Also I love how you making paintings fun and easy. Do you ever come to Canada , only in summer of course. Lol
Hi Janet - Yes I generally use cold press. I have been to Canada - last workshop trip was in 2022 to Montreal. I have also been to Calgary and Victoria. We are discussing returning to BC. Stay tuned!
Hi Claudia - thanks for your message. You can purchase my Goof-Proof Color Wheel from my website RobertBurridge.com or from Cheap Joe's website. We also have an App - compatible with Apple/iOS, available in the app store.
@@RobertBurridgeBobBlast I can’t find it in the Apple Store. I looked under Bob Blast, goof proof colour wheel and nothing comes up. Can you give us the link or tell us the title that it’s under thanks in advance love your work. Thanks for all your tutorials🙏
Good reminders... on the use of the wheel. U may enjoy watching Sarah Burns Studio, video from 2 days ago... also Marabeth Quin and Gaynor Pattle this week's 😊 also Chris Loud art
Bob, what happens with the colour wheel if the dominant colour is also the focal point? Like if I'm painting an elk portrait - brown/orange, I would put the background blue. But my dominant color is not blue. Thanks Bob.
I think I should have watched the video before asking my question! The focal point does not have to be small! The background color, like you said, is the dominant color! This is incredibly useful and I'm going to go work on my painting!!
Thanks for your question. Remember, my Goof-Proof Color Wheel is not configured the way the standard color wheel is. Establish your overall dominate color first, then add the focal point - the 2 spice colors augment the focal point. Play with it.
