I´m 44 and I still think the 50s and early 60s were the best era in musical history.

Bought this 45 rpm in 1958 when I was 16 and played it over and over in my Mums kitchen while she prepared meals for 20 boarders. She threatened to break it if I didn’t stop! This was when we British kids were waking up to the new exciting music coming over from the States--The King, The Killer--Paul Anka- The Everlys-- Chuck Berry and many more. It was the greatest time ever to be young, hot music, hot summer nights and even hotter girls! 65 years later, I have to pinch myself to to believe I was ever that young and really happened! Where did those years go??

I love this favorite Bobby Darin song of mine along with the colored footage!! Just watching him snap his fingers, dance, and make eye contact in front of the camera while performing live on the Ed Sullivan Show are brilliantly amazing!!

What a shame to have lost Bobby at such a young age. He made so many haapy but nice memories are still there.

not only was he a great performer he was also sick as a child but he went on to the end and what i love about bobby is he took care of sandra dee. she got addicted to amethepines but i undrestand she was raped by her stepfather and she never forgot it i dont blame her what she went through she needed help and bobby didnt know how to deal with ehr as she never told him until later on but he still stood with her until the end of his life after he died she went to drinking and died... she missed him because she knew that he really loved her and cared for her. he tried the best he could... not knowing later in life that he thought his sister was really his mother... he said who was the dad??> his mother never told him but some are spectulating that his dad was his grandfather!!!

im the oldest of my siblings. i was born in 1962 December 23rd.. i have 6 other siblings after me and some are from different fathers. I asked my mom who my dad was and she really never wanted to tell me she only gave me his name and false address of my aunts where they lived. i do know his birthdate.. i never saw him nor did he bother coming to see me after i was born... so i can relate with bobby in some ascepts of my life. I did ask my grandfather who my dad was and he said your dad is nothing but thin air to me... my grandparents raised me and my sister because my mom boyfriend at the time didnt want kids yet he was a married man with a daughter and left his wife for 2 yrs to have to children with my mom and went back to his wife... I always wonder if my dad is even alive both my mom and dad were 17 when i was born...
