I have already seen dozens of channels on RU-vid that show chess games and finally your channel is the first one that shows the game at exactly the right pace and is pleasant to watch, I subscribed, thank you
Fischer was becoming a star in the chess world when he became a grand master at age 15. He was quick to notice, when he would go to a chess tournament, he would always win, get a trophy and a very small percentage of the take, whereas the organizer would take the lion's share. So he let it be known that if the winner's share was not much, he would not show up. The organizers realized they had to increase the share because when Fischer said he wasn't going to come to a certain chess tournament and why, the attendance was a tiny fraction of what it could be. So the winner's share was greatly increased. This meant the difference between Fischer staying in a motel instead of a five star hotel. Before Fischer came on the scene, tournament chess players winners did not make much.
Yes! Which is why he almost didn't show to play Spassky in the 1972 World Championship. His demolishing of his opponents in the Candidates tournament was a statement that he not only had been the highest rated player for years, but that he was unofficially the best player in the world. Being a world champion to him meant little if the prize money didn't fit the accolade.
Fischer was a genius chess fanatic! Everyone in the chess world was afraid of playing Fischer except for Tal and Spassky. Fischer even spent his leisure time studying chess and learned different languages so that he could read the commentary in foreign chess magazines.
Morphy Tal Alekhine Kasparov had More beautiful games than Fischer!! Stockfish 16 would beat Fischer 999-1 easily! Fischer beat the weakest chess World champion Boris Spassky only 17 wins 10 losses! Capablanca would beat Spassky easily 8 wins 6 draws zero losses! Carlsen would beat Spassky easily 6 wins 6 draws zero losses! The highest tournament elo rating score is Fabiano Caruana 8,5/10 StLouis scoring 3080 elo rating! Karpov 11/13 Linares 1994 elo 3040! Fischer his best tournament score only 2990!! Karpov has won over 160 super grand Master tournaments! Fischer won zero! Fischer was Second in Santa Monica 1966 behind blunder maker Spassky! Fischer did not won Havanna 1965!!
The true beauty of chess is the enormous complexity after the standard 10-15 moves. Rapid chess allows the players to get into the "deep think" part of the game quickly. At this point it's no longer a memory game, but thoroughly taxes the brain to perform extremely complex computations. This is why computer chess programs can beat the best human chess players on the planet. ♟️
Tal resigned because he has no moves. Every knight move gives away the knight, Kd8 makes little sense and pushing the b-pawn loses to Rb7. White can collect blacks h-pawn without having to worry about blacks b-pawn.
@@davidkaufman18 it's a rook Vs. A knight and aTal was up a pawn but Fisher was about to wipe them and he could pass the pawns... I probably have like 300 rating in chess and I know that. Lol
That's exactly how it should be: no brainless torturing noise, slow motion of the pieces and no comment - making think yourself.
If black played knight takes bishop, instead of f6 to f5, he would go for an easy draw. But winning a match with a million draws, like people do today, was not Tal's style

About 2:45 in idk why Nd4 was not a good move to save knight and protect bishop until you move it again??? 2800 the field must have been sweet as SaraLee.😅
I remember these well. I used to play lots of chess. I have used those opening moves many times. Both white and black. The opening with King pawn two spaces is to use Queen early. But it can also be too aggressive at times
It is not to use the queen early. The main purpose of pawn to e4 is to occupy the center and open up the diagonals for the bishop. Pawn to d4 also is to occupy the center however it leads to more strategic closed games. Pawn to e4 leads to more open sharp tactical games. Opening basic principles are occupy the center ,develop your pieces and castle king to safety. Bringing the queen out early in most cases is not a very good move but there are exceptions.
@@queensgambit4982 the analysis was by either Fisher or Spasky. I forget which. but a pro said it wax in part to open and use Queen early! Early weapon. So I must disagree with you .
I am a chess lover and have seen many chess games, but this game seemed to me one of the best! Fischer and Tal are both great masters, but why are they defending today in chess 🌍 that Magnus Carlsen would easily beat Fischer?
Fischer was brilliant at chess WELL before the emergance and dominance of chess engines. If Magnus had been born during the Fischer era he most certainly would not easily have beaten Fischer. Before Fischer the russians had dominated chess for 20 odd years and along came Fischer who single handedly took them all on collectively and won convincingly!
можно сказать что Фишер был в месте взятий Человек+ компьютер "" Он сам сказал когда победил и стал чемпионом----"" Это лишь Теория и хороший память, людям кажется что это "" море возможностей "" но есть только один правильный ход!!"""""....the computer sometimes plays uselessly, but Fischer said that in order to play well you need to know theories and have a good memory, then there is only "" one correct move ""....
Fisher had the whole Russian team trying to take draws because points won world title , being fisher played alone no other American was good enough to make it this far . What this generation think that chess has evolved in America but it hasn’t no matter who comes up they say he would of beat fisher , shows how great Bobby was he played in 1962 took this long for them to even have someone they think could beat him. They wouldn’t Bobby is the king the rest of the world player’s could only be the prince ..💯
People don't realize Fischer was the ONLY modern day GENIUS who happened to play chess way better than any of this opponents, and the ONLY other person we could say that about EVER was Paul Morphy.

Shay~ If you look at this final position, Bobby was going to clean the board with his rook. It then would have been a rook and 2 pawns against a knight. At this high level of play, the end is obvious, and Bobby was going to win. Most impressive at this age. Bobby would then go on to be the greatest chess genius in the history of the world. Sure, people will debate that, but, in my expert opinion, Robert James Fischer was the zenith of genius- right next to Albert Einstein. ♟️
@@gregoriopalofuego9808urt Godel and Alan Turing could rival Einstein in terms of creative genius. EDIT: And Russell was no slouch, not to mention Ramanujan
Baddest American thing on wheels for decades. Couldn't get the nod from the people he wanted approval from the most. Died at a ripe old age amongst the natives of Europe.
Why not you eat the position in chess rd6 X re6 then nx re6, white is win in chess because, queen move f6 ne6 move again nf8 and move f6 white is win this games in chess , grand master , queen move , h6, is wrong move in chess , thanks you ,
You forgot to mention Fischer was like Alekhine a bloody uncredible Jew-heater. Despite his genious in chess he would never had get so many prices, recognitionm applaus as he did.
@Tokisamright, You can see brilliance of Bobby Fischer in this match also.. (1)The style in which Bobby's King advanced towards opponent's King. (2)The manner in which, 3 ridiculous Pawns (Of Thal) ,forced to give ,cover-up for Bobby's King.(8:44 to 9:30).
