Fun fact: the next day, I boiled up some elbow macaroni, stirred the sauce and some cut-up meatballs into it, and had that for lunch two days running. Fantastic!
I love Bobby's BBQ burgers...and these meatballs give me a clue ad to the ingredients that make those buegers so darn good! I'm going to try these - but tomatoes and I don't get along, so I have to ask Director/taster Dale this -> since you tasted the meat before the sauce was added, would he say they would be good to eat as is? Thanks!
We both say yes, absolutely. The combination of ingredients going into the meatballs really pack them with flavor. But, I’d still cover and simmer them that 20 minutes, even without sauce, to ensure the pork is done inside.
