I picked this one out of the hat for a new artists I haven't done that could use some nice enhancement and chose "Bobby's Girl" who like the girl artists of the early 60's. It's one of my favorites and I had a clean digital stereo version on a CD I could use. Hope you like it!

WOW!! Sounds fantastic!! Brings back sad memories unfortunately. Never had a girl friend through high school and college. I was pretty much a loner. I was at the diner having coffee and played this song several times. This girl said "Hi Bobby". OMG!! She was looked like a James Bond girl!! Anyways, I ended up this gorgeous girl. We kid about her forgetting to put her glasses on before we got married!! Hee hee. This is her favorite song.

Thanks Fred! It's nice to have an established technology to post these out to the public where I can share them. I'm trying to fill in the gap of great songs that were not recorded with full stereo imaging. No two songs are even remotely related as to how to enhance them and that's the fun challenge. Remember the phone advertisement "let your fingers do the walking through the yellow pages"? Well "let you ears tell when when the enhancement sounds right" that's basically my rule-of-thumb! Kenn

@alevine1951
@alevine1951 3 года назад
He misspelled it, it's actually "Blane." She found the record business hard to deal with at her age: she didn't have a strong sense of self, wasn't comfortable in front of a lot of people, and felt isolated and lonely. She was contractually obligated to follow up with a number of releases, which she did (listed on Wikipedia) but they didn't click and she then left the biz. Some are here on YT. Her follow-up What Does A Girl Do? isn't terrible but doesn't have the hook of Bobby and is actually pretty risque for the time. She graduated from Queens College, got married, had two children, and had a career working in education.
