Living as a Muslim after growing up Christian, my life is hard - in the sense that I see the errors in my ways, I know the truth even when I am behaving to the contrary. I'm aware of the Final Day, and it terrifies me every day that if I don't change my ways, Allah will cast me into the Fire. It's easy to live the wrong way, but requires sincere effort, struggle, devotion and intent to live the correct way to save your soul. Islam has the answer for everything past, present and future. Most people born into Islam are surrounded by family who will guide and correct you, encourage and assist you in striving to please Allah, for everyone's benefit. For reverts, we don't have any family to guide and correct us, we are discouraged and denied help when it comes to pleasing Allah. As a revert, 100% responsibility is on our shoulders, it's all up to us and we do carry a heavy burden especially when other Muslims look down on you because you did not grow up muslim nor do we come from a Muslim family. It's hard because we feel like we are all alone in this world but I know that Allah has a mighty reward for me if I persevere, continue to strive, resist temptations, give charity and obey the Law. When you are on a path to salvation, all the wrong people are on your back fighting tooth and nail to bring you down and keep you down. I know because I've had to live this way for 19 years since becoming Muslim. No woman will marry me because I'm a revert, their families do not approve because I'm a revert, so I'm facing a double edged sword daily. For women it's easy because any Muslim man will marry them, but the same for me is very hard. I can only hope that if I'm meant to die alone with no wife/wives or children, then Allah has all of my desires waiting for me if I am successful in this trial called life. May Allah guide and protect us all. Peace be unto you all, my brothers and sisters.

I have been following Shaykh Uthman for long time now, and also started following brother Bobby from last couple of month. Its so nice to see both of them talking, ma shaa Allah. In shaa Allah, brother Bobby will find the truth and revert to Islam soon. He says, before he always use to rush to anything that appeals to him, but now as a father, as a family person every decision he makes, will affect in good/bad way to his family, so he is taking the time. Perfect, in shaa Allah, virtue comes with paitience

My friend is Greek Orthodox and converted to Islam secretly . People need to understand for a lot of cultures religion is ethnically understood and in the balkans how they identify because otherwise they would be the same or similar. I am from a country Alhamdulilah 100% Muslim and for a long time Alhamdulilah and if I became a Christian it would be crazy as hell 😂I would no longer be part of my “ethnic group”. It’s takes a lot of strength !

Great conversation - I find that those who are SINCERELY looking for Truth are those who will calmly and respectfully converse and digest all information, yeah... at the end of the day it is your choice - your heart has to accept without any pressure and most importantly AT PEACE with it - since we Muslims believe that Allaah is Peace (Allaahumma anta Salaam...) and Peace is from Allaah (waminka Salaam)....
