Bobby Shmurda has been behind bars for almost 6 years now. The now 26 year old rapper from East Flatbush, Brooklyn was taken into custody all the way back in December 2014 and was held inside Rikers Island while awaiting his trial. It wasn’t until September 2, 2016 when Bobby Shmurda eventually accepted a plea deal that gave him a 7 year sentence with two years of credit given to Bobby for the time he already served. Once his sentence is completed, Bobby Shmurda is required to be on probation for 5 whole years. When the sentence was first given to Bobby, his lawyers thought for sure that he would be out in 3 and a half years, which later led to the entire internet thinking Bobby Shmurda would be released in December of 2020. But unfortunately, Bobby Shmurda’s release was denied on September 21, 2020 for multiple reasons. Curious on what Bobby Shmurda could have possibly done to prevent him from getting parole? Well then we’ve got you covered. Here is an exclusive inside look at Bobby Shmurda’s Life Behind Bars.
