Ō K A M I shieeet Social media would have been alright too better to keep in touch with family and friends but.....sadly it turned into negativity. We don’t use social media for what it was made for. They turned it all around and made it what it is today. 😢😒
yes, the years immediately following 2001....widely known as the most simple and beautiful times lol we just like that time because its when we were young and still having fun and growing. everybody romanticizes their childhood/teens
We appreciate way more now it's not society, it's women. When body acceptance got more popular people start going all out with plastic surgery. It was hot back then as well and then everyone was complaining that normal girls weren't that skinny or they wanted girls to look like super models
Cuz the general population has been dumbed down. So artists will be lesser than before. It really is as simple as that. This applies to pretty much anything really. We gotta get smart again and fast.
Bobby V is straight fire on this track! Tuning into the short video *on my channel* about how rappers are blowing up has finally gotten Bobby V the recognition they deserve.
Honey, y'all STILL have worth n value.....n for whats its worth, I value strong, smart n beautiful black girls! Y'all are queens walking this earth! Don't let these "Kardashian's" n "real housewives" type girls get ya down! I know theres some dam good women out there still! Take care, n keep your head up!
Believe it or not that young lady Bobby Valentino was eyeing is my old pre school teacher. Her and her daughter were close to my family. Haven't crossed paths since recently.
True, now everybody's stuck on their iPads, iPhones, Tablets, etc.. Around this time is when everything started to get popular but things were still simple and vibrant.

Beauty , when it was so naturally around, no surgeries, no need for makeup, beauty brought out naturally, naturally , deep within and brought to such a beautiful surface of the women, -Natural Beauty Brought-
@@kaiiloe not bashing nobody dear, just saying beauty is natural.. you took it as bashing only cus it runs deep for you.. sorry.. I don't bash anybody.. beauty is natural inside an out
Fr, I hate my generation cause I'm part of that new generation that lost the way & all they ever do is wear make up and somehow think that attitude is a personality trait, the 2000's were so great it makes low-key wish I was an 80's baby
I miss this generation so much! I am French and I have always loved Rnb and American rap. The years 90-2000 are the best .. Ashanti, Aaliyah, Ja Rule, Cherish, Boyz 2 men, R-Kelly, Cassie, Nelly, Bow wow ...
@@DUROENT music was at its best when we as a people were together. Now divided, our music is suffering. Some of the best music in history was made when black men and black women were in love with each another, facts!!💯👍🏿
Cause its not about love anymore it is all about sex, beefs and who is getting more than the other now. They have done away with giving af about one another tbh.
this song is literally just "aye girl, lemme talk to you real quick! but wait don't turn around yet i'm tryna see that ass" but yea he described women so beautifully
Yes indeed! As a matter of fact it sounds better now because they don't make good music like this no more so I miss it and cherish it now more than ever
2005-2009 was an incredible time in R&B. And this was one of those classics that led the way. It was definitely a new/innovative era.. Usher and Alicia Keys Owned 2004 so there really wasn't alot of fresh faces that year. But 2005 though? Amerie, Mario, Omarion, T-Pain, Pretty Ricky, Jamie Foxx, Bobby V, Ciara, Keyshia Cole, Trey Songz, Ne-Yo, and last but not least Chris Brown all had incredible, and new shining moments which still carries on today. And this is just 2005 ALONE R&B is dead now, just like hip hop, but still, the 2000s were great times. I would say 2000-2004 was an incredible era for "2000s" Hip-Hop while 2005-2009 was a high time for r&b...
@@justicethomas109 Times change, but don't let nobody say your skins not beautiful Sweetie. Different people are just shitty to each other out of ignorance. My whole family is black but I'm white so ik a lot of the things u have to deal with and it really sucks. But I think maybe that's one good thing social media is doing for us, is giving everybody a chance to grow up around different cultures and look at each other more understanding as equals. Interracial relationships are rapidly increasing each year😊 I'm sure racism will never fully go away but I'm praying for all of us❤️ Keep ya head up
I worked at Six Flags as a lifeguard when this came out, they had summer jam concerts or whatever it was called lol and he performed this, omg such nostalgiaaaaaaa.
I appreciate, Bobby V, for allowing me, and handing me the mic to sing, "Boyz II Men's" first verse and hook, of their legendary classic "Please Don't Go" acapella, to this woman for her birthday, at "The Piazza" in, Aurora, IL, April 5, 2024. That was absolutely unexpected, yet great lol. In full humbleness, I'm dearly glad that she and everyone enjoyed my voice. Even Bobby started getting into the vibe and did a little bit of, "Jodeci" on stage afterwards lol. He still has a great voice, and he's laid back. That was a great concert (all around). Much respect to him, his security, his crew, the birthday woman, and everyone that was there. Thank you all....RESPECT!!
@@UglyAzzDonold Thank you truly. I'm a musician, working to help bring some "true and soulful R&B," out of the "lime light" asap. In my strong opinion, we truly need it.
the good thing of music frome 2019 is the sound cuz the lyrics has no fucken sence...the music back the has a good lyrics it has a good way to sign no like migos
yin yang twins, david banner, nickelback, pussycat dolls, 50 cent, gwen stefani, bow wow, ciara, j-lo, bubba sparxxx, t pain, chris brown? FUCK NO, LEAVE ALL THAT BULLSHIT WHERE IT IS
+Roman Reigns That's because of false nostalgia. It only sounds good to you because you associated it with times when you had less responsibilities and free time, giving the illusion that entertainment overall was better in that time period. Simple psychology.
SidTV25 Leave that negativity to yo self ..... I said what I said and my opinion still remains. 😂😂😂😂 There always gotta be a smart ass in the comments 🙄
+arlene andrea fr tho i was 18 years old 175 with six pack abs and i had all the fly little hunnies on me that whole summer lol😂💯 i will always remember that smh
I was 27 in 2005 now I'm 44 DANG I FEEL OLD WHENEVER I LISTEN TO THIS SONG OR WATCH THE VIDEO!! I MISS THE GOOD OLD DAYS!!! WHO OUT THERE FEEL ME!!! CLASS OF 1997 FOREVER!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I was 24 when this came out in 2005. It's probably my favorite r&b song ever. Now here I am about to turn 42 and still listen to it on a regular. I'm a graduate of the year 2000. They don't make beautiful music like this anymore.
Same! I’m 34 and was a teenager when this song came out. Reminds me of when we would get out of school and run in the house to catch 106&Park with Free and AJ. The nostalgia 🥺😍
