Rest in peace Bobby Womack. It's crazy that a year ago, I never really paid attention to the song's meaning. Yes, I did listen to it, but not understand. So many things changed. I wish I could just go back where I loved Lana and it was all much simpler. I still do love Lana very much but things aren't the same. Maybe someday I'll feel like it's better this way.
I love the instrumental of this so much. It's one of those you could listen to all day. It feels like country roads at 10pm in July, watching the sunset through the silhouettes of the trees.

Lana is straight up turning me with this song, I wasn't sure about her before but she really sounds lovely here. Of course Bobby is wonderful as well. This is like neo indie soul/r&b, awesome stuff!
