I'm guessing they don't perma ban unless there have been multiple incidents. I've been saying all along that most of the top streamers in COD cheat and the problem is there are no legal consequences. Once some of these guys see some jail time you watch how fast the cheating stops. When you are talking about the money involved for being a top streamer there should be serious legal consequences for cheating.

If someone is cheating occasionally then I don’t think jail time should be anywhere near a consequence but the moment a gamer enters any type of tourney that obviously has money involved then I agree. It’s basically stealing at that point. Even if they don’t win. Thieves go to jail if they are successful or not once they get caught.

Reports or spam reports usually put you in shadow ban lobbies while they investigate basically the gulag. A perma ban notification like that is a full on hard ban where the anti-cheat has detected cheats/hardware or software based. Activision clarified on perma bans saying ''Permanent bans are final, and there are NO false permenant bans''

I guess it really depends on how much he has earned over the years playing tournaments but then again there’s no way to prove if he was cheating during the tournaments too so for him he gets to fly under the radar but for those who try to moving forward should 100% have legal consequences.

crazy thing is when you get perma banned you are also hardware banned ( HWID Banned) but he was playing yesterday on another account so the only explantion is he was using a spoofer , which is more proof that he was cheating , as cheaters use that as a safety measure if they did get caught cheating so they can continue playing
