Everyone knows how to install O-rings in the male coupler, in fact you don't even have to disassemble it. What is really important is re-sealing the FEMALE coupler. Do that and I'm impressed.
No not everyone knows how to reseal the male end thats why the video has over 6k in views. And the breakdown was to show people how the entire part goes together. We do these all the time in shop and the best method is the way i did it.As far as the female side i have to make up that video too .Its just as easy as the male side.We run a business and its hard to get videos out
I have a Takeuchi TL150 and the seal started leaking on the female coupler. Is it the same as size as the male coupler? I bought a replacement coupler to get running again and will repair the leaking one and keep for a spare.
We have never had a seal go out in the female coupler. For some reason it is always the male end.Thats why we made this video to show people how easy it is to repair .
Thats because all the sealing is done by the male with flat face couplers. The only time a female will leak is when disconnected and pressured up. In that case nearly all brands are not serviceable @@jrac863
