Bobcat Visits Our Backyard

I looked out into my backyard and I saw a bobcat lying under a lawn chair.
I captured this video using my iPhone. It was shot through a window screen.
We have never seen a bobcat in our backyard until now.
We live near Fish Creek Park, Calgary, Alberta. I’m sure that is where this guy came from.
Since I recorded this video we've seen this cat a couple of times in the neighborhood. Today he was in our yard - first on the front deck and then towards the backyard. I tried to shoot more video of him in the back but he ran away when we made eye contact. He's now over on the neighbor's yard across the street.

He's a real beauty, as long as he doesn't attack anyone's small dogs or cats, why not.

Here in Calgary, we have an outdoor pet-cat by-law. Cats must be kept inside or on a leash. I believe the reasoning is to protect the wild birds. We started keeping our "outdoor" cat inside once we learned of this by-law. Because of this by-law, Calgary is renowned for being a bird-friendly North American city.
