Bocce Ball Court Drainage Failures 

Want to use on those "no oyster shell" "no decomposed granite" top soil, clay or other "special blended" material mixes, then be prepared for badly draining very hard to maintain bocce ball court.
When water does not drain through the playing surface the water begins to form pools. Pooling of water can prevent play during spring and summer thunderstorms. Small or large pools of water also cause silt to sumps to form in the court which harden and become difficult to rake out, resulting in poor play conditions.
