As is all too common in the comments to YT videos, there are those who disparage some aspect of the performance….and yet I have not yet seen ONE make their own damn video demonstrating to the rest of us how it should be done. Res ipse loquitur.
I was sickened to hear the idiocy of percussion in this piece...castanets may be called for however Boccherini loved the depth of the cello and to cover it with some cheap instrument like a tambourine is sinful.
Puede que la pandereta suene un poco heterodoxa, pero pensando en que el bueno de Boccherini que se inspiro de cuanta escuchaba durante sus años en España no le disgustaría. Me gusta la interpretación de este conjunto de esta sencilla y cautivadora melodía.
