One of many classy things about Bandmaid guitarist Kanami is the respect she pays her fellow musicians, alive or departed. When Mikio Fujioka, lead guitarist of Babymetal's Kami Band died, Kanami tweeted (on her Bandmaid account Jan 10, 2018, translating from the Japanese): "Kind-hearted, cute-smiling Mr. Fujioka, I was able to say a final good-bye to you. [Presumably Kanami attended Mikio's funeral.] I will never forget you. As poor a guitarist as I am, allow me to keep you in my mind while I am playing. Thank you for the greatest music. I pray for your soul." When Eddie van Halen died, Kanami retweeted Wolf van Halen's post about his dad and tweeted herself (Oct 7, 2020, translating): "Mr. Eddie van Halen, I learned about tapping from your solo 'Eruption', and I hoped that one day I could produce the same sort of heart-piercing phrases that you played. My guitar hero, may you rest in peace. I pray for your soul." When jazz-fusion pianist Chick Corea died, Kanami tweeted (Feb 12, 2021): "Today I am going to have some coffee and listen to Mr. Chick Corea. He soothes my soul. May he rest in peace." Thought you’d like to know more about Kanami the person.
I love how they always move all over the place so everyone can enjoy all of them. sadly, nobody ever mention that poor guy untangling there cables every show, that guy IS a real hero 🤘
The guy is Daisuke Kondo, and he's a real pro. He can play all instruments, and he has a hawk's eye for any problems on stage. When a cable is caught in a pedal, or Akane drops a stick, he's immediately there to help. twitter.com/DaisukeWylde?t=YUcNH7E2buxDzYldYjInvg&s=09 Give him some appreciation.
@@ShikataGaNai100 Maybe she just twisted her ankle. You may have noticed that she wore a different type of sandals during this trip. The rumour was that she actually twisted her ankle before the trip, and therefore was forced to wear more stable shoes. This Sturdy Pigeon was singing even with her ribs broken, what are we talking about...
The people who are editing the official live MVs should take notice of Vladimir's filming. I appreciate to be able to see what each member is doing. I then replay focusing on the next member. Thank you Vladimir, great videos as always :-)
Well, they try to do it "professionally" ... which often means they overdo it. After all, what's the purpose of having eight cameras in the hall, if you don't switch between them? 😂
I noticed a positive change the way Dice (live without audience) was filmed. Each takes is a bit longer and in bonus the musicians often react to the camera.
I've been looking at different fancams to suggest to a reaction channel. I think this might be the best one. Great audio, no blinding lights, balanced sound.
It´s always the same with their new intros..."what´s that ? what are they playing ?" ...and then they burst into one of your favourite songs and it completely blows you away and you seem to burst, too.
I wonder what will be the repertoire for this American tour in 2022? They introduced so many new gems. And I hope they will perform Puzzle. But this song needs to be played in large venues for acoustic should be great.
Really? I did not know that... I thought it's only Order, which is getting blocked. Actually, I thought that the Hamburg version is better in terms of sound: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-yWGuBX7q0aA.html But this one from Bochum is not bad as well, you're right. There is a little echo here, because I was standing in the middle of the hall, while in Hamburg I was right at a speaker.

She screwed up one tap there, at thirty six seconds. I love seeing these raw audience clips. Of course the downside is the audio is not as good as official releases, but you good sir have some way of getting among the best sound from the audience.
@@jimmorrisonisamaidiac Yes, MISA was making a mistake at one point at all shows, and shaking her head at that. The fans argue, though, if it was done for the sake of showing off 😉
"Misa, who supports the band’s bottom sound in a cool fashion, uses a Black Cloud Black Smoker Beta 5. Black Cloud, located in Omachi, Nagano, has a reputation for their guitars and basses with traditional designs and modern sounds and playability, and is popular among young Japanese players. She has two J-Bass style 5-string models. She liked the sound and playability of her first brown finish model of 2016, and she made a black finish model based on her image. Both have an ash body, a maple and titanium neck, a rosewood fingerboard, an original pickup, an active/passive switch, and a tension bar on the headstock to keep the string tension." www.reddit.com/r/BandMaid/comments/g3fzsk/interview_with_bandmaid_on_player_magazine/
Black Smoker Beta-5 MISA: Misa’s main bass [note: J-Bass style] used in 14 songs from the middle to the end of the concert. Its balanced sound in all frequencies by the company’s original pickup contributed her tight rhythm. www.reddit.com/r/BandMaid/comments/gy3r8l/interview_with_miku_kobato_kanami_and_misa_on_the/
Thank you for the info Vladimir the Smoker has a very distinct and powerful sound ,very like a Thunderbird. Im curious to know if its active. Combined with the Orange rig it certainly kicks ass 😀
