I'm a Roman catholic too and this might sound wired but recently I came across some documentaries on RU-vid which said that Jesus travelled to India and Tibet and stayed with monks. Apparently in Buddhist scriptures the name Issa has a similar story to Jesus, who was considered a devine being too. I felt blessed just knowing that Jesus visited India ❤️🙏

Buddha is beyond any country or clan boundaries. Buddha was out come of Indian philosophy, The shankhya yoga of Bhagavad-Gita modified to Kapil darshan which got its universality with the magical touch of the Gautam Buddha.

It is a great joy and blessing to see the Holy Sangha, the Beautiful pilgrims, the Sacred Mahabodhi temple with the Blessed Bodhi tree and the many other Blessed sites in the Holy Village. The Sacred Bodhi tree reminds me of a poem written by the Blessed 6th Patriarch Hui Neng who said, " Mind is the Bodhi Tree, the body is the Mirror stand, the mirror is so clean, dust has no place to land. " The Blessed Hui Neng 's sacred poem is too profound for words to describe but to me it means to let go of thoughts and feelings and relax without losing one's focus of the moment. @@shubhammore7880 Yes, in Russia there is Buddhism, there are Datsans and Stupas. We also have regions where Buddhism is a traditional religion these are Kalmykia, Buryatia, Tuva.
When i visit india i always visit bodgaya and relax ..meditate .. I hope visit russia after pendemic finish or control..im really interest to visit that buddist province..

Excellent !!! Every year I along with my family visit Buddha Gaya during the month of October when Holy Kathina Chivara Dana is performed. This year I refrained myself because of Covid-19 spread. My inability greatly hurt me. However, looking at the video clip, it seems as if I am sitting in the Mahabodhi Maha Vihar. You have really met my religious thirst. Thanks a lot. 🙏
