Bodhran Basics: Basic Rock Groove 

I’m a big fan of playing bodhran outside the context of trad sessions and groups. This is a basic backbeat rhythm that is meant to evoke a drum set groove, so you can try some acoustic rock.
As someone who spent a lot of my early musical years playing a full drum kit in rock, blues and punk bands, I definitely appreciate only having to carry one drum to the gig these days!
